We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. Adjacent to Banner Elk but also within easy distance to downtown Boone. The hot tub and games were a big hit with my family. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The host was excellent to work with and was extremely responsive. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom which was really nice. Would definitely recommend for families as the multi-level cabin provides space to retreat or gather. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time this past weekend celebrating my son’s graduation from App State at this cabin. Mark was a great host and communicator. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub due to all the other fun things the area had for us to do with the lovely spring weather. Highly recommend the Wilderness Alpine Coaster and Grandfather Vineyards.

Mark was an excellent host. He was very communicative and was truly concerned that we have an enjoyable stay. The weather didn’t cooperate, but thankfully the cabin offered a lot of options to occupy our time - pool/ping pong table, darts, hot tub, multiple games and TVs in various sitting areas. There is a waterfall within walking distance that grew as the rains came. We went kayaking on beautiful nearby Price Lake which was a welcome change of scenery after all the rain. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing getaway!

The house was exactly as described. It was very clean and has everything we need to enjoy our stay. It was nice to have to owner call before our stay to answer questions and give us a brief overview of what to do. Definitely a place that I would recommend.

This cabin was fantastic! Clean, comfortable, very cozy too. We loved the fireplace and hot tub, and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The host was available to answer any questions and was in close communication starting from before our stay. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Excellent Place!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a large group with multiple families in town for App State Graduation. We all had plenty of space to spread out but still had plenty of space to spend time together. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with anything you could need. The property owner was amazing as well.

Very Cozy!

Great cabin and great location. This cabin was just as a mountain cabin should be. It felt very private even though there are neighbors. It’s close to Boone, Banner Elk, Beech, Blowing Rock and Linville. My family really enjoyed our stay.

Cabin was cozy and fun! Pool table and ping pong table provided plenty of entertainment for the kiddos while adults enjoyed the hottub! Plenty of rooms and beds were more than comfy after hitting the slops all day! Would definitely recommend and would stay again

Great place even when it's too cold.

Nice cozy well stocked cabin. It was too me, bitter cold, but we still enjoyed the family time. Wanted to hike more, so we'll be back someday.

Tweetsie Trip

I had bought tickets to Tweetsie earlier this year and decided to make it a long weekend trip. We all had a blast. Property was well located and great for our needs. The three floors worked great for us since there were 3 sets of families. Would definitely stay again!!

Labor Day Getaway 2024

Took the parents for a much needed relaxing getaway. The house is big. We had plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub was awesome, as well as, the ping pong/pool table. Nice and helpful host. Will stay again.

We wanted a get-away and this cabin was perfect. It was very spacious but also cozy. The location was perfect, close to activities, restaurants, but just far enough away from the busy area of Boone. The owner was very responsive. Would we stay here again?- yes we would.

Excellent retreat!

My wife and I needed a few days to unplug. This property was perfect! It felt like staying in a tree house in the middle of the woods. Yet, all the comforts of home were still available. Can’t say enough.

Relaxing Retreat

A quick peaceful vacation is what we wanted and what we got at this beautiful well equipped cabin. The privacy of the trees and the sounds of the wildlife made it perfect. We even saw several deer. The owner was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. The kids (and adults) had a lot of fun playing in the game room area and soaking in the hot tub was a plus. Will definitely be back.

It was a great house for us w our grandsons! They loved the ping pong table & hot tub. The bedding could use refreshing. It was all clean, but worn and tired.
