We enjoyed our one-night stay, as we passed through the area. It was simple, cozy, easily accessible from the highway, and the perfect size for our family, with two beds and a futon.
This cabin had everything needed after a day of adventure. Cozy yet roomy, clean and a wonderful place to relax. The owner was so nice and inviting. The property was away from busy city areas but easy to find and we loved the farm and it's quiet surroundings. Would totally stay here again!
We stayed here with our 4 kids while in the area for a wedding. The kids loved the horses, sheep, and yaks. The cabin was clean and had everthing we needed.Lisa was so accommodating and answered any questions promptly!
The hostest was for the mostest. she showed us the animals and let us hold the baby sheep, and they had dogs and cats that sat on the porch with us. They also had yaks and baby yaks
Great little cabin set in a unique setting. This cabin is located on a working farm/ranch about 20 minutes outside of Missoula. During our three days there (in town for graduation) we saw and interacted with lambs, working dogs, yaks, horses, and chickens. The lambs e en came right up to our front porch to say “hello”. The cabin was clean and exactly as advertised. We have zero complaints and would stay at this property again.
Lisa was so welcoming and the place was great. Close to everything we wanted to see, and wonderful to have access to so much on the property—truly a great stay.
If you like country living, animals, farming communities and at the same time comfort and beauty, this is the area for you!
We had everything we needed at our cabin and we enjoyed exploring the area! .
Nice, clean little cabin for our family to break up a long drive. The cabins are on a nice little farm with a hay field behind the cabins. The owner is very friendly.
This was a stop for us between GNP and YNP. The location was wonderful, secluded and quiet. Owner was amazing, friendly and accommodating. Would love to stay here again!
Delightful host and the "cabin" exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable and clean. Cabin has all the gadgets which make the stay feel like a home away from home.
Very close to Missoula, the cabin was a nice, quiet get-away to stay for just one night. Although very hot outside, it was comfortable inside. The host was so helpful, and came over to give us a little cabin orientation. Will plan to stay here again when we’re in the area.
Had a great stay: place is in a beautiful setting and hosts went above and beyond to be accommodating and responsive!

Mitch and I (Lisa) and our son Charles are excited to share the historic L Diamond E Guest Ranch with you. History abounds here and we are delighted to be the new caretakers. Mitch is retired military and I am a retired nurse. We were recently able to obtain this property to complement a ranch we already own in the area. It is a working hay ranch and we are working to add a yak herd soon. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our love of this area with you.
