Dog Friendly Cottage on the water with Boat dock and Kayaks

Imagine having your Skype or Team meeting on the back deck of this cozy lake cottage while listening to the serene sound of the lake! This is not the Ritz, so if you are looking for a 5* resort, keep scrolling. This is our family lake home which we adore and enjoy sharing with friends and guests.

The Master bath has a separate shower and claw-foot bath tub. Master bedroom has a Queen size bed (sleeps 2). The 2nd bedroom has Twin size trundle bed (sleeps 2) and the 3rd bedroom has a Twin over Queen bunk style bed (sleeps 3).

This is the perfect house to relax and get away from the city, whether you are looking for that special place to get away from it all, or to just have a wonderful family vacation. Located in a calm cove, just off the big lake, you can fish directly off the boat house (or swim). Dog friendly, up to 2 dogs allowed. TV's, Hi-speed internet (bring your log in details for your favorite streaming services), and WiFi are available.
The subdivision, Holiday Villages Resort, has a manned - gated entry, boat launch for residents and guests, community park, fishing pier and community pool.

Bring your boat or jet ski and park your trailer at the house, or park by the boat launch. You can tie onto the boat house and leave it during your stay for easy lake access (depending on lake level, lake livingston is a variable level lake).

Lock the doors and return the keys

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Cats allowed. Please keep dogs leashes in front yard and common community. Please clean up after your pets on the property and community property
Please use life vests when using kayaks
Please do not cook fish, shellfish or any other strong smelling foods in the house. You may use the outdoor grill. No cooking on the upper deck.

Wonderful property and loaded with amenities

Last minute 15th birthday getaway for our son and a couple of his friends. The house has absolutely everything needed. Kayaked every day, grilled every night, beautiful surroundings.

The lakehouse was amazing! Clean and cozy with everything you could ask for! We loved the kayaks and the kids got to fish off of the docks. I think the kids thought that the community pool was the best part. Also, we picked the perfect weekend, as they had a fish fry at the clubhouse and there was so much food! Our family can't wait to do it again!

Relaxing lake getaway

The house was stocked with kitchen essentials and the primary bedroom/bath was great. They took the time to include small details like bathrobes and slippers. We really enjoyed the covered porch. It was perfect for relaxing and a great escape from the Texas heat. The yard and carport areas had plenty of room for yard games and playing catch. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay.

Had a great weekend stay. Cabin was fully stocked with all the kitchenware/towels we needed. Master bedroom and bath were quite spacious. Outdoor patio deck was A+. Used the provided Kayaks multiple times to paddle out and fish. This was one of my main reasons for choosing this listing, that it had kayaks included for our use, and they did not disappoint. All in all, the property was well furnished, updated, and comfortable from the moment we stepped foot inside.

Had to get away from the City

This home is very QUITE! Very clean. We started 2/20..2/23/2024. Great location near the middle of lake. The water level was high so , we were not able to use dock for our boat. The launch ramp was great , easy in and easy out *we have a24’ CC. The kitchen had everything we needed, we just brought food. Again , this place is very quiet , we loved it . I actually started talking to myself 😎. Look forward to returning this summer 2024.

Christmas Vacation

This property is adorable. They had everything you would need to feel right at home. Very quick to respond to messages and kept us in the loop about anything going on in the neighborhood especially during the freeze. We were so comfortable and had the best Christmas vacation for sure.

We have been looking for ages to find a special place on a lake for family vacations, fishing, boating and kayaking. The perfect place to make wonderful memories.

What makes this property unique

The home is in a calm cove just off the big lake and includes a boat house to tie onto. The cove is located just about 100 yards from the open water and is great for fishing, tubing, wake boarding or skiing. The boat house has a deck for fishing or just relaxing. The house has upper and lower decks for the view or sun tanning. The neighborhood is golf cart friendly, so bring yours.
