Our family loved the access to the garage game room. The proximity to Irish Beach is great, we drove to the beach each day (3 minute drive) and always found a parking spot. Host was easy to communicate with and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area.
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving at River Rock beach house. The games room was fun for my 15 and 12 year old. Great location. We loved the pond and private beach access.
Clean property, helpful instructions and coffee provided (big plus for this coffee drinker!) Could have more/better seating in the living room (such as another couch/love seat). It wasn't clear in the listing, but the private beach is accessible by vehicle and is a short drive from the house.
We had such a great time on our stay and Steph and Keith were incredibly nice to deal with! The short walk down to Irish Beach was so nice!! Can’t wait to come back

We are so glad you had a good time! Thank you for loving it as much as we do and taking such great care of it!!
The place was very cute and had everything we needed. The king bed was super comfy!! A little weird that the guests are not allowed to use the wood stove, but it is shown in pictures in the rental listing. Overall would definitely recommend staying here. The area is so beautiful.
Our Family came here over the 4th of July! We wanted a quiet getaway from all the craziness. We had a great time. The private beach was perfect! The location of the home was in a quiet neighborhood near a pond great place to walk our dogs. The game room was nice to have. Overall a wonderful stay we can't wait to come back.
My family had a great time staying at this property, the game room was wonderful for my two teenage kids that spent lots of time in there while we were at the house. We loved the location and the private access to Irish Beach. We did have a little bit of a hiccup with getting the access information ahead of time, but other than that, the house was wonderful.

Thank you Elizabeth. We do hope you come back in the near future.
The house is in good condition and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. There are plenty of linens and towels. The grill works great, too. Just a few notes though, you are not allowed to use the wood burning stove which was a disappointment to us as we love to have fires and it was part of why I chose this house. I might take that picture out of the advert since it is misleading. Also, you CAN walk to the beach but it is all on paved roads including a short jaunt on the 101. We are avid hikers and chose to drive down, for whatever that is worth. Close to Point Arena and some nice coastal hiking there as well as a decent market, surf, and a few restaurants.
Very friendly and helpful hosting - Thank you! The house is clean and in a very nice location - a great place for walks on the seashore, horse riding, unique nature. Unfortunately, because of the holidays (we were there on Christmas), the restaurants in town were closed. Otherwise, it's a great place to have fun with family.
Lovely location. My wife and I stayed here while attending a wedding nearby. Place was clean and had all the basics, with a nice kitchen with deck and a nice living room to hang in. Also a game room, although we didn't use it. Host Stephanie was communicative and obliging. The beach access key was a major perk! The house is not on the beach, but you get private access key to a nearby entrance to Irish Beach, which is a beautiful beach.

Thank you for your kind review. We are so happy you had aa good time!
We had a blast staying in this home. Neighborhood is quiet and calm, great for walking with a stroller. The house is just far enough from the ocean that we didn’t have to worry about the dogs or kids going in unsupervised. No outdoor fencing but there is a nice park area right next door and the dogs enjoyed the enclosed porch. The 15 min walk to the private beach is beautiful and a really good workout on the way back. Would recommend driving the route first to see if you are up for the challenge. We would definitely visit again!
This home was the perfect Oasis for our trip to “Better Place Forest” in Point Arena. We came to place my husband’s ashes beneath the Redwood tree we chose six years ago. The house was perfectly situated near “A better place”. The neighborhood is easy to access and quiet. My grand daughter was delighted to have the game room because it was raining when we arrived.
The hosts are wonderful at responding promptly to questions. Would gladly stay here again.
This is a 2 story house with the kitchen upstairs. Not for anyone who is mobility impaired.
Host was very communicative and check-in process was easy thanks to the detailed instruction left by them. Pictures of the listing are accurate. The game room and fully loaded kitchen were both great perks to have on our getaway. We did have a couple issues during our stay however. The downstairs heater was not operable so I woke up freezing at 5am and had to sleep in living room for the rest of our stay. The second occurred during checkout. The next door neighbor walked over and started harassing us as we were leaving. We asked if they were the host we were renting from and they said no. We stated that if they have any issue, they should take it up with the host as we are just following instructions. Considering there was a booklet signed by previous guests mentioning the nice neighbors, this incident surprised us. Luckily, it was as we were leaving because it did not create a welcoming environment and left a sour taste in what was an overall decent stay.
Best of both California's ocean to the west, and forest to the east. Check in/out and our entire stay was smooth. The home is tastefully decorated and has all the essentials you could need. I only wished for a coffee pot, there is a keurig. There's a very short walk to a nice large grass community picnic area complete with wood fired pizza oven for anyone to use, and a little lake to fish in. The private beach access was really nice! The town is an extremely small town. Everything is closed before 8p & restaurants are closed Mon-Wed. Also good to note that gas is almost 40 min. away from the house.
Beautiful rustic home with modern beautiful farmhouse decor and finishes. It was the perfect mix of levels and beds for the family/friends- well stocked kitchen- fun game room activities and access to Irish Beach.
Once you find the little trail near house — cut thru the forest by Pomo Lake to get to the main road down to Irish Beach. It is a good walk.
The pizza oven and fire pit is not apart of home but easy enough to access within a public park at Pomo Lake. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. Deer grazing daily in meadows and if you sit quietly you just might here the ocean.
It’s a 10 minute drive to Manchester and another 10 or so to Pt Arena. Lots to do and see on the coast!
Stephanie the Hostess is very communicative and helpful. Loved her suggestions and help with everything. Definitely recommend!

Beautifully said Christina. Thank you for staying and enjoying all the neighborhood has to offer. We are so glad you had a good time. We hope to have you back soon.
A lovely and cozy beach home right next to the sweetest little park with a walking trail, lots of grass to play fetch with the dog, a fire ring and picnic tables. Perfect way to end a long day of exploring the private beach.
The house is super clean, well stocked, and with a game room we really enjoyed! This house has everything you could need. Our helpful suggestion would be to turn on the floor heaters as soon as you arrive (even before you unload the car) to warm up the house if you arrive in the chilly months. The heaters take a bit to get going but once they do, they are wonderful!
We would definitely recommend this home and the hosts were just outstanding with quick communications :)

Thank you for staying and being such wonderful guests! We are thrilled you liked the house and area. It really is a great place. We can't wait to move in one day but are so glad to be able to share it with so many wonderful people.
Beautiful area and the home was great. Clean, comfortable, great space, and it is such a luxury to be able to experience the beach there! Thank you!
My one recommendation would be to put something over the stairs in the house as there are some points sticking out of the first couple steps that make it difficult to walk on without shoes.

Zoe, Thank you for your kind words and helpful recommendation. We are so glad you had a good time at the house and surrounding area. We would love to have you stay again.
The thing about a vacation is to have choices: Time and activities when alone, with fam, in nature. This house offers plenty! Enough privacy and space for gramma, mom-dad, 2 teens, and a dog. The balcony off of the kitchen was great to listen to the ocean underneath the stars while being enveloped by the trees. A few of us played ping pong and darts when the fancy took us. Our teen watched the football game for a couple hours while the rest of us explored brunch choices. The beach, OMG feels a find and a gift! Playing Taboo! was a hoot. Our 2 night stay felt perfect.
