This house has an amazing location. Walk one block to Bidwell Park and Caper Acres or step out to the Farmer's Markets and Downtown restaurants. This is a great home! The location is perfect for walking downtown or to Bidwell Park. The house is adorable and well appointed. There were nice touches like snacks, filtered water, and fresh flowers The host communicated well too. We would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were wonderful - quick excellent communication It was a beautiful home and great location to the school and park. The kitchen was well stocked, living room was very comfortable. Choice of three different bed types, soft, med, hard, between the three rooms. Parking is on the street but right out front of the house on a fairly quiet street. Look forward to staying there again!

We always live staying in this beautiful cottage. We've stayed here several times and it honestly almost feels like a 2nd home at this point. It has everything thing you need to enjoy a nice visit to Chici, and is within walking distance to just about everything. We will definitley stay again in the future!

Annie and Darrin, your hosts, love sharing this unique property with guests who have discriminating taste and a desire to be close to the park and downtown, our two favorite places in Chico. Our perfect day is a walk to the Farmer's Market to get flowers and produce and a walk or picnic in the park.
Annie has been an ESL teacher for many years and an entrepreneur. Darrin is a CPA. When we have free time we love traveling in our RV, visiting our short term rentals, and walking our Black Lab.

Why they chose this property

This house is very unique because it is over 100 years old but has been lovingly remodeled with lovely fixtures. It is just gorgeous. We fell in love with Bidwell Bijou when we first saw her and imagined many guests appreciating a visit to this house when they come to Chico. We dreamed of living in this house in the future when we retire.
