This peaceful townhome #2 is located in Cable WI near Lake Owen. It is only 5 minutes by car from Cable WI and all the cute charm Cable has to offer and only 30 minutes from Hayward WI or take a ride north to Lake Superior.
This townhome has beautiful Northwood interior complete with a fireplace, and TV! There is a walk out deck with BBQ Grill, patio furniture and wooded view. There is a Firepit for cooking smores and enjoying with family and friends. There are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is in the upstairs loft with private bathroom and a queen size bed. There are two bedrooms in the lower-level downstairs. One has a queen size bed, and one has two twins. There is a bathroom downstairs.
This beautiful vacation rental is close to bike trails and scenic drives. IF you have a bigger group, Cavalier Townhome # 3 is next door and our vacation home Serenity is right down the road.

The Lodge in Cable

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay here due to some kind of issue with the cabin. The management company was able to move us to The Lodge in downtown cable. Overall that place is decent. Right on 63 so fairly noisy. Not a big deal because we weren't there much. A couple of misleading statements on this one as well. First there was not a king bed in there and also there are not 2 bathrooms. Its 1 bathroom split into 2 rooms- one for shower and one for toilet.

BAD Mouse Problem, appliances out of service

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a terrible, active mouse problem - they were everywhere, droppings found all over the kitchen, bathrooms in dressers, in beds. EVERYWHERE.Washing machine improperly hooked up and flooded (mgmt company actually yelled at me for calling them to report this, saying it didn't deserve emergency service and I could handle it myself). So we couldn't wash sheets, etc. covered in droppings. Dryer there but never hooked up.Internet didn't work upon arrival, but I got service myself from Norvado and fixed it (after a couple of days of the management company saying they were working on it).Basement bathroom covered in mouse droppings was never cleaned while I was there, so we had to use bathtub of neighbors and others along the lakeshore to bathe kids.Description was pretty inaccurate. If you're familiar with Lake Owen, this is across the street from Villas, not part of Villas. Though they say often that very little is provided, there are actually plenty of bathroom towels and dishtowels, new sheets, and comforters on all of the beds. The kitchen is well appointed, and there is soap in the bathrooms (despite the management company saying there is not). First floor couch, beds, and dressers are newer! Rental managers hadn't done any recent cleaning, tons of lights out and smoke detector out, no seasonal outdoor cleaning. Generally, looked like the owners made some investments, but that the management company wasn't keeping it up for renters.I'd stay again only if there were a new rental agency managing this, and they could confirm NO MICE.
