After having your favorite beverage on the front porch rocking chair, you can go out to the back yard and build a fire in the fire pit. Afterward, spend your days fishing, kayaking, or canoeing on one of our many local lakes--we provide the canoe, kayak, trailer, paddles, and lifejackets--or relax on the sandy beach. You can also head out on one of our snowmobile, ATV, ski, bike, or hiking trails. We are a block from Trail 63.

Very cozy, comfortable cabin with the fireplace. This is one of the best stocked kitchens I have used when renting a home! The owners are very responsive and kind.
Cozy Lumberjack Cottage was exactly as listed. Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was SO clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. We plan to return for the winter season!
Our stay was amazing. One of the most cleanest VRBO's we've ever been in. The host Jeff was easy to work with and responded to our needs quickly. Definitely keeping this one saved!
This was THE cleanest and best stocked kitchen rental at which we have ever stayed. Owner was friendly, responsive, and kind. Avoid the Bayfield hype and prices and enjoy a cozy, quiet time here. It is a lovely home with a fun history.
We booked this beautiful place to spend the weekend snowmobiling. Of course the week leading up to it the weekend decided to drop to -20 and colder. The owners reached out ahead of our scheduled trip there to offer us a chance to cancel or reschedule our trip due to weather. Unfortunately we weren't able to so we still went and made the best of it! The communication before and during our stay was superb. The place was clean and adorable and well maintained. We are definitely hoping to come back again in the future.

Thanks Kelly, you guys are always welcome back!! Remind me of the -30 and I’ll take good care of you!
This was one of the cleanest vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The hosts have done a wonderful job with attention to detail. Kitchen was well stocked & has everything you could possibly need. Loved the quiet & small town, so peaceful. Within a 30-40 minute drive you can find many things to do. The location to lakes, trails, & beautiful scenery is just minutes away. We are looking forward to coming again in the summer months.
This is an adorable house. Kitchen has all appliances needed, big and small. The place looks newly remodeled and very clean. We have a large truck and ex large trailer for our ATV's, and there was no problems parking. We will be happy to rent again when we are planing another trip in the area. Thank you for making this place affordable and beautiful to stay in. Deb J

About the host
Hosted by Jeff Zeilenga
We absolutely love our Drummond short-term rental home and the local community, and have a 65 year history in the area and on Lake Owen. We split our time between Lake of the Ozarks and the Chequamegon National Forest.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly. We love staying here when our cabin is occupied and sitting on the rocking chairs or drinking wine by the fire pit. Drummond is a great community and there is plenty to do in Bayfield, Sawyer, and Douglas County. Stop in at KDs Bear Den for her Wednesday chicken dinner or have a burger and cheese curds. Visit the library or Drummond Historical Center
What makes this property unique
We are in the heart of everything! The first thing that everyone says is “clean” and “cozy”. Everything has been updated. Good parking for snowmobilers, ATV's and boats. We are centrally located to lakes, hiking/biking/ATV and snowmobile trails, Additional trailer parking at the 63 trailhead just down the road.
