The cabin was nice and in a great location. Loved the fire pit outside. However, watch your head while walking in the cabin.

Hemza,
We are sorry that the guest had an issue with the slanted ceiling in the kitchen. The cabin was built in the late 1800s. We wanted to leave as much of the original build so our guest can experience how the cabins were built back then..
Sincerely,
Teresa

Hello, My name is Billy Ray Hendricks. I was born and raised here in Scottsboro. My hobbies are fishing, hunting and hiking Walls of Jericho with my four legged friend Jake.
Why they chose this property
I think you will find my little cabin a home away from home. It was built in the late 1800's. You will be able to tell as soon as you drive up. The Cabin is sitting on 15 acres. You will be able to sit on the front porch and listen to natures sound. Depending on time of year, see some of natures wonders. (Deer or Turkey) So come, grab you a chair and relax.
What makes this property unique
As soon as you walk in you will also notice the squaring of the walls and door frames are not squared. That's what gives this cabin it's uniqueness. A dear sweet lady who lived there for 80 years told us she raised her 7 children, at the time, it was a 1 bedroom with a outhouse. She also told us a story of supposedly Billy the Kid hid out there before she and her family occupied the property. We have no documentation of this. The original well is still there and works. So come. relax and let your mind wonder how time was.
