Great home a few blocks from beach access. The en suite bathroom is very small. It wasn't a problem for us but it may be nice to know ahead of time if that might be an issue for you. There's a beach wagon, toys, chairs, and 2 bikes in the shed out back which was very nice.

A pleasant stay

In spite of a glitch with our reservation, we had a very nice stay on Jekyll Island because Ann was able to figure out a solution which was acceptable to both of us. Ann was a good communicator and we had a wonderful time in the coastal cottage.

Great Vacation

We had a blast! Location is great! House was clean and very user friendly. The owners were awesome and very helpful. We didn’t want to leave. Jekyll has us hooked, we will be back!

This lovely duplex was perfect for a stay of five girlfriends mixing a conference and vacay. It is close to both the beach and the conference center. Although it is an older home (read small bathrooms) there was plenty of space and the decor was charming.

Beautiful!

Don't let the outside fool you -- this place was beautiful on the inside and had all amenities needed for our stay during the conference. Don't get me wrong, the outside is not bad, just not as glamorous as the inside. Check-in was easy (although I do recommend a shorter door code :) Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us.

Easy to load and unload

Description said entire house. It was a duplex. Check out on line said 11 am. Paper inside said 10 am. Furniture was dated. Master bath very small. Kitchen, laundry room, back yard all nice.

Hi Gwen, the description says house because there is no choice on this website for duplex. The furniture is 3 years old, not sure why that would be considered dated. It did say check out at 11am on VRBO and 10am on the paper. That is my mistake BUT I gave you the option to check out at 11am to honor what it said on this website. I have now corrected this. Thank you.

Ms. Ann takes pride in her property. The amenities were top notch, even down to the toys and chairs for the beach. It really was like having a home away from home. My girls were super excited to have their own beds in the bedroom. We absolutely loved the wild (but very tame) deer that roamed the neighborhood. My girls got to feed and pet them! The location from the beach was a very short walk and we loved our time at Jekyll! Thank you, Ms. Ann, for hosting us. We can't wait to visit again!
