Take a flight in a Spartan non-Aircraft. If you listen carefully, you may even catch the sound of Rosie the Riveter, though by now the echo of the Spartan Aircraft factory has long since diminished. In our case the din of riveting has given way to the peace and quiet of humming birds, wind in the pines and whatever noise you make yourself. Overlooking mostly ranch land and a beautiful view of Pikes Peak, this is a perfect spot to unwind, drink in the countryside, and listen to the breeze! At night you can count the stars “until the cows come home.”

Susie and Dan are fantasic people, amazing hosts, excelent communication and care! The airstream was clean and beautifully decorated, stocked, and the bed was amazing! It was so peaceful with beautiful views - literally cannot say enough good things!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others!
This was the perfect get away!! It was secluded but still close enough to many things to do around Colorado. Susie was amazing with helping us find anything we were looking for to do and even connected us with a friend of hers to explore her property too!
What an absolutely perfect place to unplug! The camper is secluded for privacy and has an amazing view of the rolling hills and mountains. It was tidy and well-equipped with thoughtful touches like coffee and snacks. The host had filled up the bird feeders so we got to enjoy birdsong and excitedly watched so many hummingbirds. Susie made perfect recommendations of things to do, including a great little weekend craft market in the next town and a thoughtful invitation to movie night with her neighbors. You'll be fully unplugged (no wifi or TV to distract you... Just birds, cows and mountains.) Highly recommend this off-grid delight.
Little John did not disappoint. We loved sitting on the porch, watching the birds in the crisp morning air. Thank you Dan and Susie for a peaceful stay.
Thank you, Dan and Susie, for having us as guests at your beautiful Spartan trailer. We appreciated your warm welcome and your hospitality. It was lovely to spend a couple of nights “off grid.” It was peaceful and the views we’re beautiful. We enjoyed watching the birds and listening to the frogs. The stars were gorgeous at night off of your lovely deck. The trailer was very comfortable and you did an wonderful job restoring it. It was all around a very lovely getaway for us. We would love to return.
P..S. The lights Susie made to light up the pathway were brilliant.
My husband and I stayed here for half of our Colorado trip and then spent the last half in Denver for a business conference. Definitely the first half was the best part of the entire trip. The location was absolutely gorgeous and the hosts were so sweet and so helpful! They gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. If we ever come back to the Colorado springs area, we would absolutely stay here again.
My wife and I chose this property for our honeymoon and we were blown away by the incredible views and how accommodating the hosts were. It was a fantastic experience
This cozy little trailer in the woods was exactly what we needed. Tall folks be careful entering and exiting the mobile home. It's easy to bonk your head as I found out.
