Property was clean & updated. Price was fantastic! There could have been a bit more attention to detail (like dish soap and a skillet for cooking breakfast), but overall not a big deal. My only heads up for others is that I WOULD NOT bring my wife here. Neighborhood is super ghetto and she would have been uncomfortable. But for my buddy and me, it was the perfect spot. All in all, I’d absolutely stay here again!

This booking is very affordable and clean and I would’ve overlooked several annoyances, other than the deadbolt, for that reason. However, they stacked up. There is no deadbolt on the front door and that seems unsafe to me. I had to go buy dish soap and toilet paper right away. It’s advertised for up to 6 people but there’s barely enough plates and forks for 4. The tipping point that made me complain about all of this was that there is only a very small skillet, a stock pot, and a wok with a few plastic cooking utensils—and someone had already complained about that on a previous review. The whole reason my family chooses VRBO over hotels is the ability to cook for ourselves and that was very challenging in this house. The host was nice and the house was clean, but somebody needs to buy some more kitchen things.

Why they chose this property

This home is close to downtown and major interstates that will get you to all of Amarillo.

The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet, safe, and not a lot of traffic. There is a Wal-Mart, Tornado washateria, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Toot' n Totum, Valero Gas Station, and a Fiesta Food grocery store within minutes drive from the home. Also, within a 1-minute drive is a water tree if you have a need for alkaline water.

There are plenty of ways of getting around from the home. Some car ride services in the area are Uber, Lyft but also within walking distance is downtown convention center and baseball stadium. If you have a bike or want to use the one in home, it will also do well for getting around in close proximity.

What makes this property unique

Guest have access to the 2 bedrooms: bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 , bathroom, living room, kitchen, electronics, and the front and backyard. Also included are the amenities listed , kitchenware, and seasonings. A juicer is also in the kitchen, which is a great item. Please keep the house and items in good shape as it were found. Looking forward to a 5-star review giving you great accommodations/hospitality.
