Papa Bear Cabin is nestled in the beautifully maintained Riverbend neighborhood in Lake Lure. Riverbend is a private gated neighborhood featuring the Upper Hickory Nut Lake and is centrally located to numerous area attractions and mountain towns: 10 min from Lake Lure Public Beach, 15 min from Chimney Rock Park anddowntown Chimney Rock. Only 50 min to Asheville and Hendersonville & Black Mountain.

Riverbend boasts a beautiful swimming hole and tubing on the Rocky River, an offshoot of the French Broad. You will also have access to the private Upper Hickory Nut Gorge Lake, kayak, tubes & paddles boards included in your stay! Our home provides you with a secluded getaway with beautiful deck views in the tree tops, 4 bedrooms, two living areas and a game room.

The home is ideally located with the main living area in the trees and a secluded backyard and deck for your stay. It also boasts access to a river and lake within the neighborhood with the host providing tubes and kayaks/paddle boards for your stay.
