DETAILS:
Ideally located in the Camp WaterColor District of WaterColor, 245 W Lake Forest is a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom cottage with sleeping accommodations for 6 guests and beach chic decor throughout. Outfitted to minimize hassle and maximize relaxation, notable features include a private golf cart, complimentary bikes, and a private pool! Very convenient walk, bike or golf cart ride to Seaside, nature trails, parks, bocce courts, boathouse, tennis and pickleball, and all of the amenities WaterColor is loved for. Guests will have full access to the WaterColor Beach Club with two recently renovated family-friendly pools, one adult-only pool, multiple restaurants, bars, and beach chair service.

Upon arrival, the front porch features a quaint dining area and hanging bed swing. The main floor open living area welcomes you with vaulted ceilings and ample natural light as well as oversized seating to enjoy the Smart TV and Sonos surround sound speakers.

Perfect for hosting or relaxing, the main floor has a wet bar with an ice maker, a breakfast bar that seats 4 just beside the dining area that comfortably seats 6 as well as a convenient powder room. A practical kitchen offers upgraded appliances and ample pantry space. Also on the main floor is the primary bedroom, with a king-sized bed, Smart TV, large jacuzzi-tub ensuite bath, and walk-in closet, with direct access to the screened-in back porch.

Upstairs you will find two tasteful guest suites; one with a king bed and the other with two full-sized beds, both with private baths, walk-in closets, Smart TVs, and a separate HVAC unit. Hardwood floors throughout, designer furniture, accessories, and lighting will wrap you in cozy luxury!

Guests will love the convenience and privacy of the home's screened-in back porch and pool. Relax to the sound of the pool’s fire bowl waterfalls in cushioned lounge chairs. And enjoy the satisfying aroma of something delicious from the gas grill.

This cottage is perfect for one to two small families or groups of friends to enjoy all the amenities you need for the perfect 30A Getaway!

We loved our Spring Break stay here. Golf cart was a huge plus for easy access to Seaside shops, etc... The pool was a great way to relax. Beautiful home and we all were very happy with this rental.

Perfect for families - quick walk to the basketball court and camp watercolor. The pool at the house was a huge hit for our boys and we used it daily. The house generally had everything we needed. Only thing to note is the golf cart needs some work as many seatbelts aren’t working. Would definitely stay here again!

Home Exceeded Expectations

We had a fabulous stay and were blown away by the home. It far exceeded expectations…the pictures really don’t do justice. The location was amazing for a family with small children…Camp Watercolor was a short walk away, making entertainment and pool access super easy. We would stay here again, without hesitation. Loved the experience and made wonderful family memories!

Amazing Place!

We had a fantastic time at this house! We have 3 kids that are 6 and under. If you plan on visiting Camp Watercolor during your stay, this is the place to be. Only a one block walk over to Camp Watercolor. The house is short golf cart ride to Publix, which came in handy when we needed stuff for the kids. The pool in the backyard was nice to have for early morning and late night swims for the kids. We had it heated and the kids enjoyed that. Communication was quick and easy. 5 stars all around highly recommend!

Wonderful beach house!

We loved our stay in Watercolor! Everything was decorated beautifully and had lots of extras! We enjoyed the golf cart in going back and forth to the beach. On a side note, you may want to have the brakes checked as well as the parking brake. We assumed the cinder block was to be used to put behind the wheel.

Incredible location and value

Our first trip to 30A and we loved staying in Watercolor! We looked at SO many properties and this one checked every box. The convenience to Publix, restaurants, the beach, etc. can’t be beat. The bikes and golf cart were absolutely key as well…we rarely needed our car. We were out and about most of the time, but had we been home more I would have liked better kitchen and cookware, and overall a few more supplies like beach towels, etc. However, overall, it was a tremendous value.

We had the most amazing time.The house was gorgeous - kids enjoyed the pool and proximity to Camp Watercolor. The pool was advertised to have an operating water feature with pool lights at night. Both didn’t work and we asked to have fixed a couple times but they never were. I’d also recommend changing the tires on the golf cart. They were really bare. We can’t wait to book this house again for next year.

Great Watercolor home in a great location

This house is appointed very well and helped to create an amazing stay for our family. The location of this house is perfect (so close to Camp Watercolor and Publix) and an easy golf cart ride to the beach. Also, having the private pool is a huge plus! The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was similar to other reviews. The golf cart is great but there still seems to be an issue with the brakes (specifically the emergency brake). Finally, the general cleanliness of the property was just OK, but that is more on the property management and not the owners. Great house in Watercolor for a family vacation.

Wonderful Spring Breat 2023

Wow! What a beautiful community and home. This house was great for my family of 6 plus a grandparent. The pool in the back was a big hit for our kids and they loved hanging out in the back screened in porch. Beds were all comfortable many pillows to choose from if the ones on the bed do not fit your comfort ;). Half a block walk to Camp Watercolor and a playground. The golf cart was a big hit with our kids, we did most of the driving in that! House is in a great spot easy to get in and out of the community and close to Plublix. We cannot wait to come back! Fall Break Vacation

The property is beautifully decorated with nice features. When we arrived there were a couple maintenance issues that either we addressed or the mngt company did over the course of the week. Pool needed cleaning, doors made a lot of noise and needed some wd40. Golf cart needed new batteries (had limited range). Management company couldn’t get new ones in time to affect our stay but follow on guests will enjoy the golf cart. FYI doesn’t have power steering so bring your arm strength. Overall this is a great location and a nice property with good proximity to camp watercolor and the grocery store. Would recommend.

Great stay at Watercolor

This was our first stay at watercolor and we hope to return. The house was great, newly renovated, well decorated, very clean and comfortable. The location was convenient and it was great to have a golf cart, bikes and a little pool. The house really had everything we needed. It was well stocked. Check in and communication with the management company was simple. Location within watercolor was great (near Publix and all amenities). Picky feedback for the owners: Camp Water Color was closed for the entire duration of our stay, which was a big bummer for our kids. Wish we knew in advance. The watercolor resort and beach access made for convenient swimming, but our crew really loves water slides. Also, there was a decent charge to heat the pool which is a bit silly, since the listing title boasted a “heated pool”. None of this would stop us from renting the property again, just things to consider!

Pool Made the Stay

We love Watercolor and all it offers: lots of biking, golf carting, dining, pools, beaches and always quiet back at the house. We’ve rented in Watercolor many times over the years and each house/area provides something different. This house had a beautiful, warm pool with an easy to use sound system at both the pool and the screened in porch. We used this the most and enjoyed it greatly. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. The bikes provided were also in great shape and good quality. The golf cart was also well used. For us, this particular house layout didn’t work great, in particular with small children or a baby, for our family. The front porch does not have railings which is dangerous with a 1 yr old, so we didn’t use much. Unfortunately the house was not up to our clean standards. Lights switches were gray with dirt; cobwebs on ceilings; refrigerator vent was filled with dirt; master bedroom bottom side table was thick with dust; lots of Knick knacks in this house that are glass, but not dusted and included in regular cleaning; our feet were black from floor dirt on the first night.; many dishes in cabinets were dirty; kitchen lacked organization with cups and misc things in every cabinet. These are little things, yet the expectation is much higher given the rental prices, cleaning fees, and the wide variety of other rentals and management companies. Overall, it’s Watercolor, and it’s always beautiful and well kept. We made great new memories in this house, and that’s what is important in the end! The pool is the real fabulous piece of this house.
