Steps to the sand! Updated upstairs 2BR with ocean views, private deck, and parking, a rare combo on Folly Beach.

Perfect for couples and families: a queen bedroom for the grown-ups plus a twin bunk room the kids will fight over. Sleeps 4 (queen + twin bunks). Surf crews love the bunks too, the break is 100 feet from the door.

Walk to Center Street restaurants and nightlife, or drive 20 minutes to downtown Charleston.

You truly are only footsteps from the beach, with closer access than many oceanfront homes on neighboring Charleston beaches. No long boardwalks, no dune crossings. Walk out the door and you are steps from the shoreline, with the sunrise over the water from your own private deck.

The bedrooms, honestly: the main bedroom has a comfortable queen. The second bedroom is a cozy twin bunk room, ideal for kids, teens, or a couple of surf buddies. If you are two couples traveling together, this one will not be the right fit, but our ground floor 2BR with two queen bedrooms might be, and it is in the same building.

Two beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella are provided so you can head straight to the sand without packing gear. The fully stocked kitchen makes cooking in easy, or take the one mile stroll into downtown Folly for local dining and nightlife.

Upstairs and private, this is an easy home base for a family beach week, a surf weekend, or a couple who wants the extra room and the ocean view.

About a minute walk to the beach, beautiful area, and the place was so cute, clean, with plenty of space for our family. Outdoor shower for washing off sand before entering. Definitely recommend, and would stay here again!

Great place for a weekend get-a-way. Beach access is right across the street and only 1mi from downtown Folly making it easy to get around. Note, the unit is part of a triplex with a unit in the basement and two upstairs units . We stayed in B. Pleasantly updated with two bedrooms and 1 bath, nice living area, dining room, and galley kitchen with everything you need. No washer and dryer in unit B. Host was very communicative and accommodating.

Great location and access to the beach. Love Folly and the beach town vibe there. Ahhh..Folly was comfortable and clean. The descriptions and pictures are right on point. Storage was a little tight for our family of four but we absolutely enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Shopping is nearby; can ride a bike or cart. Limited parking areas in the shopping/dining areas The photos of the home are accurate. There are more than one to rent in this house. We had B which gave us a lg deck, grill & made the beach view is minimal. The house was clean! Amenities were sufficient & considerate. Would stay here again with no hesitation.

Perfect Getaway

This property was PERFECT. The house was clean and well maintained with comfortable beds, crisp/clean sheets, soft towels, and everything we needed for cooking. It was also conveniently located right across from the beach. Katherine was also wonderful to work with - she sent us several messages communicating things going on, weather, etc. She also provided us with a late check-out, without issue. We couldn't have asked for a better place. Thank you so much for making our vacation one of the best we've had. We will definitely be back!

The location was excellent. Away from the Center Street commotion. Wonderful access to the beach There were several units at 810 E Artic so it would have been helpful to have the A, B or C designation in the listing. The WiFi didn’t work even after ensuring that I had the correct password. One of the ice trays was cracked so it leaked in the freezer. The ice bin was severely cracked. The kitchen sinks did not drain properly so it was a good thing that we didn’t do any cooking. I tried several times to communicate with the host via email but never received a reply.

Fall Break get away

We enjoyed our weekend in Folly. The house is super comfy to relax, the beach is steps away and the sunrises were beautiful. Charleston is a short drive. We brought our electric scooters and explored Folly and Charleston, super fun. Also we took a boat out in the Ashley river one day to explore! Great time.

Ahh-mazing stay at Ahh Folly!

Our family of 4 ( including 2 teenagers) enjoyed our time at this property. It was one of the most well equipped rentals we have ever stayed in. The host is super on top of communication and the location is unbelievable. Our only problem was the length of our vacation was too short! Already planning our next visit to Folly Beach and this great spot!
