We needed an affordable space that would accommodate 3 adults with separate bath facilities, relatively near our meeting venue just outside of Bend. This was the perfect place (way better than 3 separate hotel rooms) and the owners were magnificent in their responsiveness and clear directions. The guest book was super helpful and comprehensive, too.
This unit is an open concept spacious cabin and has a wonderful kitchen with many seasonings, coffee, oils, fully stocked dishes and cook ware. Three bathrooms that are clean, shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. You have to search to find the Mountain View. Floor’s are a little creaky but stable. It was an amazing gathering place for our family to make many memories.
The property was pristine and comfortable. One of the best experiences I have had with an owner. He accommodated us beyond what was necessary and I would recommend this property anyone. Great amenities with all the little details thought out for you.
We found the property to be just as described, perhaps better! Plenty of room for great-grandparents and newborns to meet and visit. We truly appreciated the lack of fragrance in any cleaning products used - our toddling granddaughter had NO reaction - a first for us in any rental. Ryan was very attentive but not intrusive, graciously answered all of our questions. Check in and out was simple and easy. The location was perfect for us, we highly recommend this beautiful home!
The entire reservation, from start to finish, was very easy. And the property is exactly described - it was wonderful! We appreciated the added "home" touches with the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Will definitely stay here again if it's available next time we are in town.
Ideal home to stay a week while visiting my daughter and new granddaughter. Son from Portland joined us for 3 day weekend. The log cabin transported us to a restful place in mountains, yet minutes away from stores and restaurants. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, privacy for all. Loved how immaculately clean the home was, particularly since my daughter has severe allergies and my granddaughter just started crawling. The living room was perfect for all to gather, and her to crawl and cruise along the couch and coffeetable. Loved the shoe tray by the front entrance indicating for all to remove their shoes as they came in. The office work space upstairs was perfect for my daughter to make calls and do work away from the action. SO appreciated the delicious ground coffee left for us by the host. We enjoyed the neighbors- the ones on the right had a sleepover party for their son on the last day of school with teens playing basketball late into the evening. The ones on the left have a little dog and several young children with sounds of family activities filling the air. My granddaughter was mesmerized by the construction work occuring off the back deck, dining area, and kitchen windows. I was sad to see the lovely pond on the pictures gone and replaced by the housing development in progress. The front yard landscaping is lovely, as are the small grassy areas in the yard for spreading a blanket to watch the birds & relax.Thank you.
We stayed in this spacious home in a quiet residential neighborhood for three nights and truly enjoyed all the amenities. The kitchen, pantry, and bathrooms were well stocked, and we loved sitting on the back deck and watching wildlife in the pond. Entering and exiting the property was simple, and upon leaving, we only had to wash white towels and run the dishwasher. This house is a great home base for exploring Bend.
Stayed a few days for a local tournament - though the house seems a little out of place from the outside relative to the neighborhood as seen from the front, once inside and in the backyard it really felt like a lodge in the woods. Sitting out back in the morning by the pond was a great start to the day, the kids loved the upstairs bedroom and playroom, the beds were comfortable and the pizza oven was a nice bonus. The owners really did a great job with making things stress free, including local resource/activity guides and a very streamlined check-out process. Highly recommended!
We had a great stay in this beautiful home. We did not miss anything and the standard of the house is great. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen as well as following some of the many tipps given by our hosts.
We had a lovely stay in this home. The location worked well and we really enjoyed the back patio and seeing the pond. The home was well appointed. The main part of the house has an open plan that makes it especially spacious. The kitchen had plenty of work space.
