The kitchen is poorly equipped....counter and cupboards are old and not in good working order....we were only able to get a warm shower..the water wouldn't get any hotter...the host was very nice on the phone. I've stayed at a lot of places and this was not worth the money

Hi David,
I am so sorry for your unpleasant experiences, I have delivered the message to the owner. I agreed that some hardware in the house has room to be improved. On the other hand, it is a cabin style house with some rustic features. The water heater should be fine since it’s a tankless one and it’s quite new. But I will have it checked and make sure it is tunes up. I understand that temperature was quite low the past few weeks in Utah, especially the house situated in the steep slope. Once again, I am sorry for your experience and wish you have a pleasant trip next time.
Sincerely yours,
Cindy
This is a large house that would work well for families with 2 or more children because there is a large upstairs section of the house that has an open floor plan with a sort of recreational/play area. The play area could also be used as a sleep area for kids (or adults) with one soft couch and one day bed available.
2 of the 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom are upstairs and close to each other with pocket doors for privacy. Unfortunately the pocket doors are poorly installed and did not provide much audible privacy for the light sleepers in our group, but that may not be an issue for your group.
Our host was very responsive to concerns and easily accessible by email through the vrbo web site. We had minor issues about the kitchen supplies, but as soon as I messaged our host, the host was out shopping to correct any deficiencies.
While the location was very nice and the manager was very helpful, the house lacked a lot for the price. There is no AC downstairs, it is just supposed to circulate down from the upstairs. That works if you keep it at seventy three degrees, but the downstairs bedroom does not get any airflow. It’s a hot room without a closet or a dresser so there is nowhere to put your clothes. It is more of an office than a bedroom. The kitchen lacked a lot of everyday use utensils and since we were there for about a month I had to buy quite a few things myself . The front door has a missing key, so we had to wait until 11 pm for the owner to let us back in. The toilet broke. It was an easy fix, but was not fixed before we left so we were asked to manually flush the toilet. Those are just a few things that made the stay not worth the money. We travel a lot and this was definitely the least pleasant experience.

Thank you very much for your review. As a new Airbnb host, we appreciate all feedback to help us continuously to improve our vacation home. I texted you about the AC information when you arrived. The house AC was design that way. You might feel hot due to abnormal weather at the end of August this year. There are major cook and dining ware in the kitchen. You could let the property manager know if anything was missing. She could definitely help. Now we have already doubled our utensils to accommodate 12 people, fixed the toilet flush handle and replaced the front door lock. We put a 5 drawers dresser plus a coat stand in the 1F bedroom for clothes storage. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
Great rental. Large property in wonderful neighborhood. Easy access to SLC activities and ski resorts. Deer on the street in front of the property. Owner was easily accessible for questions.
