You're just a few houses down from Wares Creek, where you can stroll along the waterfront park, feed the ducks, or rent a paddleboard or kayak and explore by water. Downtown’s restaurants and cafés are just a few blocks away, and it’s a straight shot down Manatee Avenue to the beach at Anna Maria Island, eight miles to your west. But with a private, oasis-like back yard and luxurious interior, you’ll probably never want to leave. Start the day with a cup of coffee on the shady lanai, ceiling fans gently whirring overhead to keep you cool. The lushly landscaped, half-acre lot features several giant royal palm trees, a brick patio, and sparkling in-ground pool, creating a private-resort feeling you'll love. Take a dip in the pool and relax on one of the waterside chaises before heading inside to make breakfast.

The lovely property itself is an early 1900s Spanish-style house that recently underwent a full renovation – so expect lots of character and charm plus all the modern amenities. Saltillo tiles and plush furnishings enhance the private villa feeling. The well-equipped, full kitchen makes meal prep easy, and there’s room for everyone at the table in the dining room, or grab a seat in the kitchen’s sunny, built-in breakfast nook. After a day of exploring – or just lounging by the pool – relax in the central AC. Get cozy on the tufted sofas in front of the wood-burning fireplace and watch a little TV before bed, or use the in-home WiFi to upload the day’s pics to social media. If you’re looking for more together time, grab a board game and step back out to the lanai to enjoy the evening breeze. At the end of the night, four comfortable bedrooms offer a sound night’s sleep, with the main bedroom offering another wood-burning fireplace. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.

Security camera details: The property has a Ring doorbell and a security camera installed on the front of the house. There are no cameras or recording devices in the home.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
