Incredible Condo!

This condo was exactly as pictured. The rooms were great, the rental company was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our questions, and the property was fantastic. We enjoyed the property pools and the easy access to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

Nice facility. Did pay extra to check in at 1 however they were still cleaning it unity 1:40. Bring laundry soap, dish soap, extra toilet paper and paper towels. Get a small amount. Master bed was very comfy! Perfect beach spot!

Perfect place for our family

The condo was perfect for my family of four. Great view, location, and plenty of space. We also appreciated the covered parking and security. The only negative was a very lackluster gym, but hey, it’s vacation…not the end of the world. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great place!

Condo was beautiful and as pictured. Could use a little more detail to cleaning - some stuff on kitchen floor, looks like mold under the tub shower knob, etc. the kitchen nonstick skillets and cookie sheets are very scratched and could be replaced. Otherwise a great place to stay! Would stay again! The pool was great and warm! Beach is beautiful!

Room was very nice, enjoyed our stay, only thing didn't like was the umbrella setup on the beach, it was just to overcrowded by the beach chair company (no connection to host), other than that, beautiful views as the listing shown. I wish they made a wristband that you could put on and take off while in the room though, was uncomfortable for all of us sleeping with them and so. The room has everything we needed. I think check in could be earlier than it is and checkout a little later though.

Great location!

Great clean condo- hope to be back next year. Only negative was the couch was very uncomfortable to sit on and a blood stain on the shower curtain in master bath. Otherwise great place.

Beautiful Condo!

Everything was as expected. The condo itself was wonderful! The property’s beach for lounging was limited for the number of guests onsite but Henderson Beach Access is a short drive away.

Great Stay!

I have been coming to the Pelican Beach Resort since I was a kid so I knew what to expect with the layout being the same in most rooms. But, that being said the condo was clean and we didn't have any trouble at check-in. My wife, two year old and I had a great stay!

Great location

The property management was very responsive. We had issues with the lock code and they reset it. We had issues with the toilet and they sent someone up the next day to fix it. The location and the beach were amazing!

Great stay with just one downside

We recently stayed at Pelican Resort in Destin, FL, and it was fantastic. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing all the comforts we needed for a relaxing vacation with my wife and friends. The only downside was the check-in time of 4pm and the early check-out at 9am, which felt a bit rushed. Extending these times would improve the experience. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend Pelican Resort for a memorable beach getaway. We look forward to returning!

Great stay!

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay here. We absolutely loved the view! The bed in the master was amazing- we both agree it was the comfiest bed we had ever sleep on away from home. The only cons from our trip was that we forgot about the time change from EST to CST and arrived about 15 minutes early. The lock would not let us in until 401pm CST. Wish there was a grace period for that but other than that, it was a great stay. We are already planning a return trip later this year!

Great location

It was nice. Waiting on elevators took a while, the couch was horrible, not comfortable at all. There was a stain on the shower curtain (looked like dried blood) they need more security there or security that actually does their job. One of my daughters was swimming and someone threw a beer at her from one of the balconies above.

Great Stay

Our check in process was a little rocky as the code didn’t work and we got in from our flight at 1am but our property manager immediately answered our call anyway and took care of the issue for us!! The place was perfect for our small family and would be great for a small family of 4 or 5. There’s a king bed, two twin beds and a pull out couch. Beautiful view from the 20th floor. Had trash bags and a sample of dish soap and two dishwasher tabs ready for us upon arrival. Bathrooms had bars of soap, so would need to bring shampoo/conditioner and any kind of spices and salt/pepper you would need for cooking. Those things weren’t deal breakers for us and pretty par for the course in any rental in Destin. Location was great and there is multiple grocery locations right across the way, so very easy to get what you need. This place was perfect for our stay. In November the week of Thanksgiving the property was very quiet! Communication with manager was easy and great. Would stay here again!

Spring Break - Family of Four

Overall the unit was tidy but not clean. Upon our arrival there was sand on the floors. Also, the area rug in the master bedroom was not clean. I noticed trash on the floor under the sink in the master bathroom. There were stains on the beautiful dining room chairs, that I cleaned myself. The mattresses are worn, they are sinking in. After five days the beds were just unbearable. The shower in the master bedroom was clogged, but we just dealt with it. I realize this is a vacation home and its cost money to maintain this investment. However, I just thought I would provide a honest review for the owners. Overall the unit is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Maybe a new couch?

I tend to sleep later than the rest of the family, therefore, when we go on vacation I sleep on the couch watching T.V. Unfortunately, in this rental, the cushions became flat mats as soon as you sat on it and gave little to no support. The chairs weren't too comfortable either. I have to say the seating in this condo was the worst I've ever experienced in all my decades traveling. Maybe because of the 5 star rating I was expecting a little more than I got. The master bathroom shower curtain was stained and this bothered the OCD side of me during my stay. The management company did offer to fix the couch and shower curtain, however, since we were already unpacked and settled I did not want strangers to come in to fix the problems. The 3 pools were very nice and the view to the beach beautiful. If there was a new couch, I would rent this property again.
