Glamping at its best

Had a wonderful time! The yurt was perfect, the location was convenient to good hikes and good food. We also cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. We loved the fire pit and made use of the area daily, even in the rain because the cover kept us dry. We have recommended it to all our friends.

A perfect getaway

This place was amazing! The mountain views were breathtaking, and we were 15 minutes or less away from everything we wanted to do (Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, hiking trails, you name it!) The yurt was so cozy and still felt very upscale and luxurious. My hubby and I loved sitting at the fire pavillion and looking out over the mountains at sunset. With the location, amenities, comfort, and price, there isn't a better place than this one when you're vacationing at Lake Lure!

Beautiful Mountain View

Beautiful property with an incredible view of the mountains from porch. The bathtub was so wonderful with a view of the moon. They are doing construction very close by. A new pavilion unfortunately it’s very close to Yurt. Should be finished soon. Would like to stay again once the construction is done.

Oh my goodness, this place is adorable! It was just me on this trip but I definitely plan to bring the husband back! The yurt is exactly as described and has everything that you would need on top of being super cute!! The bed is very comfy and the property itself is super cool! Katie is a wonderful host and answered all questions very quickly. The location is also great as it’s very close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. I’d give it 15 stars if I could!!

Yurt Birthday Weekend!

Beyond amazing! The yurt is so hip, comfy and cute. Location is spot on, close to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and Bat Cave. Lots of ample hiking on the property and close by. We loved sitting by the fire at night mingling with other guests. Mountain views are breathtaking and listening to birds early in the morning is so peaceful. Did I mention how glamorous the bathroom and tub is? Absolute spa experience. We will be back soon. Thank you for such a great stay!

Time away and disconnect

My husband and I found the location of the Glam Yurt picturesque. He and I ordered in every night with flavorful local restaurants. The Glam Yurt has been my favorite getaway with my husband. It is outdoorsy but the amenities of a hotel. The design and layout of the yurt was rustic, spacious, clean and beautiful. The shower...oh the shower! Both Ken and I talked about how we could incorporate the design into our master bath when we decide to redo it. There was a sky dome on top of the yurt, so as you are laying in bed you can see the moon and the stars. Definitely loved it and want to make this an annual stay.

Everything about this location, buildings and accommodations were amazing. Highly recommend the Yurt or the cabins. The Fire Shelter is beautiful and great way to spend time with a book or friends or family. Bring food and drinks and spend the vacation hiking, reading, or just relaxing. We will be back!!!

Perfect getaway!

This place is a hidden gem. The yurt was above expectations, and had all the amenities you could need. It was the perfect spot for a romantic weekend away. Additionally the pavilion was a star of the show with the fire pit, games, and atmosphere. Check in and check out was simple and easy. I would definitely come back, and I most definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing experience

This was our first time staying in a yurt and glamping. This exceeded our expectations. The yurt itself is impeccable. Extremely comfortable bed. The view from the firepit was beautiful. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. Location was very convenient to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock attractions. We highly recommend and will definitely be back ourselves.

We’re three friends who have spent our careers in the Hospitality Industry and have long envisioned a property in the mountains to host fellow adventurers, a frequent topic of talks since we met almost twenty years ago. In late 2021, we decided to take the leap out of corporate life and search for our next venture.

We discovered this beautiful property and immediately fell in love. With quick access to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, Asheville, and Greenville, and even Charlotte, we knew this was what we were dreaming of. Previous owners, Rob and Lisa, had built a wonderful community of Cabins at End of the Road and we started the long process of purchasing a unique property such as this.

Since we became owners in April of 2022, we’ve grown our community of vacation rentals at Serenity Ridge to include Six Cabins, a Glamping Yurt + Luxury Bath, and the Hilltop House. Our newest addition: The Serenity Ridge Wedding and Events Venue with a full Catering Kitchen!
