SUN & FUN@Little Lodge/great rates, reviews, big smiles, laughs, family time

Summer time & the livin' is easy at our Little Lodge. ***

Our wonderful family cabin is nestled in the picturesque Boulder Bay area, just about 8-10 minutes from the Village and the ski resorts! Across the street is open land, a peek a boo view of the lake can be seen from the lower deck off the living room and upper deck off the master bedroom. The living room has a 55" flat screen TV along w/ a large stone gas fireplace to warm your tootsies and enjoy sharing about all those great hikes, your "BIG" catch of the day, that great run you took at Bear, play some horseshoes (even in the snow!) maybe a little foosball, ...perhaps enjoying some family/friend time by the fire, reading, watching a great movie with some popcorn and having that hot chocolate or glass of wonderful wine! BBQ in the sunny clear mtn.air...nothing quite like it!

This is the time to refresh, relax and renew, exactly what our Little Lodge offers.... A cozy cabin, games, family, friends, heart warming times full of unforgettable memories, a little BBQ, take a walk to the lake, watch some great movies on a large TV, hear the birds and feed the squirrels... your heart will smile... Our Little Lodge is ready for you to enjoy the peacefulness of quite Boulder Bay, cool sunny days, chilly star filled nights, 'family fun;) We invite you to stay with us for the most memorible time in Big Bear! We hope to be able to share all our 'Little Lodge' has to offer with you, family & friends!
The garage has been converted into a playroom with carpet, TV/DVD, comfy chairs, foosball table and darts. Fun for the kids or a 'man cave!' We recently had a wall heater installed.

All 3 bedrooms have TV's, 1 has a DVD players; the bunk room has some children's toys and books. We are kid friendly , everyone is welcome. The living room and upstairs master both have large sliding glass doors and many windows to enjoy the views! There is also a full size bed in the window seat (den next to the living room) complete w/ linens, pillows and blankets. Each room is decorated in a cabin/mountain theme w/ a splash of Bear fun thrown in :) One room even has that romantic touch!

This cabin has been in our family since 1963 when my parents built the first 700 sq. ft. In 2009 we completed a total remodel and additions to bring it up to 1800 sq. ft. We now have 3 generations of family memories, working on the 4th, and would love for you to share those w/ us and create your own!

We update the cabin yearly with, all the linens, bedding, Kitchen is completely stocked with most everything you would need. We provide guest soaps and lotions also! The appliances are fairly new, the washer and dryer also. For those of you who enjoy the old, we have saved a few relics. The brick fireplace in the dinning area is the original; we put a wood stove in and large comfy chair to sit 'by the fire!' Dining table seats 6 and there are 3 bar stools.......
So please take a real look at our ad. As mentioned earlier would love to share w/ you! Fun in the sun, snow; whatever you enjoy...BBQ on the covered deck while watching the kids play and hearing the sounds of laughter! New to 2020 is an outdoor ping pong table. Memories :) Maybe a little horseshoes in the snow, it's been done!!!???

****Free WiFi in every room.****Ample parking for 3 cars and your boat! 3 bikes available for your use also...summer only.

Happy 2023! We are excited to share our wonderful home away from home w/ you! Our family consists of 16
and growing, 6 grandchildren, hoping for more 🥰. We live in OC w/ 1 son and family in Temecula, 1in Long Beach. There are 4 SDSU graduates, 1 LBSU, 2 Loyola grads and a University of Oregon Duck grad, and a Cal grad!!! This cabin has been in my family since the 60's...we remodeled all of it and added on 900 sq ft and a garage in 2009! So for 4 generations, starting with my grandparents, Big Bear has been in our blood. I learned to ski here as did all my children, and grandchildren...We truly hope your stay w/ us is perfect..lots of love and care has gone into our cabin..it's pretty special to us and ask that you care for it as carefully as we do. We want it to be around for generations to come!

Why they chose this property

Our cabin has been in my family since the 60's. My husband and I have taken the original structure, updated it, remodeled and added the 900 sq ft. The original footprint still exists. There is a picture that tells the entire story! There is definitely a special reason we keep coming back!!!

What makes this property unique

Little Lodge is located near Boulder Bay. My children have fished there, kayak and bike. We take great walks around the lake; walk to the small coffee shop for breakfasts. It's a great location for some R & R; also just a short drive to the Village and resorts for that fun. It's wonderful to come back after along fun filled day out. BBQ, swing on the front porch swing, play horseshoes, dats, ping pong, bags, etc...!Love to listen to the sounds of the pines at night, look at the all the stars and smell the fireplace burning...can't beat it!
