Waterfront remodeled 5 Star 1st floor condo located in Downtown Historic District on the quiet south end of the Cape Fear Riverwalk! Relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and water views while you lounge or dine on the large fenced private deck. Walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, events and local attractions.

OWNER PROVIDES PARKING SPACE

Master Bedroom: Sweet dreams on this King Serta "Cool to touch" Memory Firm Mattress with Crown and Ivy cotton linens and down and feather pillows. Full size dresser and 55" smart TV.

Bath: Custom high end bath with towels, hairdryer and toiletries.

Kitchen and Dining: Dine alfresco on the patio along the river or inside at your hight top table for 2. Full kitchen, well equipped with Keurig coffee maker, pods and supplies.

Living Room: Stylish and comfortable living room with Poly and Bark Italian leather sofa overlooks the Cape Fear River. When it's time to drift off to sleep, the easily retractable sleeper sofa will send you to dreamland in no time.

Laundry: Stackable washer and dryer is located in hall closet. Laundry soap is provided.

Beautiful house, fabulous location, and impeccably clean! The deck is fantastic and it was so wonderful to watch the sunset over the water! Location was perfect for us and we could walk to wherever we wanted to go. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a long weekend getaway!

Perfect location in downtown

This was our 2nd stay at the condo in a few weeks. We thoroughly love the convenience of walking distance to downtown for both food and shopping. The bed and furniture are comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and watching the river sunsets as well as people watching!

Great Location.

This place is amazing. Very comfortable and very clean with nice decor. Great location with in walking distance to shops and great restaurants. Definitely will stay here again in the future. Carole is a super host. She contacted us making sure we got checked in and got settled with no issues. If you are ever in Wilmington I recommend stay at this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Great spot!

This place was exactly as it was listed. SUPER convenient to everything we wanted to do. It had everything we needed and you can tell the host pays attention to the details. Very clean and decor made it feel like home. We highly suggest Dram Yard for brunch and True Blue for a great steak dinner! We’d love to come back sometime soon. Great stay and worth every penny.

Wonderful river walk condo

A great location perfectly comfortable for 2 travelers. Did not want for anything and communication with the host was fabulous. Act fast on this one..the host wisely put contact info outside the deck and it seemed like every third person took a photo or asked about the place!!

Rediscovered Wilmington Waterfront the property

The property was exceptionally clean and organized. We were right on the river and walked to outstanding places to eat and shop. We were able to take both a river cruise and carriage tour of historic Wilmington. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Carole and Terry were more than willing to accomdate any thing we needed. We highly recommend this place.

Best overall experience!

We have been traveling to Wilmington for 12 years to visit family. We generally stay somewhere different each trip just for the fun of exploration. Carole’s place on the downtown waterfront has been our best overall experience ever. She was great with communicating. Her place was ultra clean and well provided for our needs. We will definitely do repeat stays as this Wilmington treasure.

Superb

Everything you would ever want in a vacation rental. Superb location literally on the Riverwalk, the river just steps (maybe 5 steps) from the patio. Very clean. Beautifully renovated and organized compact apartment in historical building with elegant and comfortable furnishings. Tons of restaurants, shops and activities nearby (museum, boats) The bed and linens are excellent quality. The kitchen is well stocked (even has little plates for olive oil). The bathroom is upscale. Really just an excellent rental in historic Wilmington.

Cody Jinks Concert Weekend

My wife and I came in for the show and we were looking for something off the beaten path. We used the outside deck every evening and the decor of the inside felt like an extension of our own home. Everything was super easy and the suggestions that we received from Carole were spot on. The pace of Wilmington, the charm, and walkability is just what we were craving from the hustle of Dallas.

Absolutely wonderful!

My husband and I were looking for a quick get away for the weekend to celebrate our second anniversary! This property was perfect. We loved everything about it. It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do in downtown Wilmington. The parking was very close and easy to get in and out of. Carol was super friendly and answered all of our questions. The Decor was amazing and so impressive.. such a treat to find this gem ! We will definitely be back! I loved that it was close but also quiet. We felt very safe and comfortable in the area. Rent this !!’ You will not be disappointed!

Great stay on the River Walk!!

This condo was fantastic!!! The photos online were great, and once inside, it was even better!! Everything we needed was there, and easy to find thanks to the signs posted, and the detailed welcome book. The bathroom was spacious, and had a large walk-in shower which was much appreciated. The kitchen counter area was well lit, and the glassware, dishes and utensils were plentiful and sturdy. We did not cook other than toasting bagels, but could have because there were many nice pots and pans. We particularly loved being right on the River Walk. The large patios were great for soaking up the sun, and people watching. We were far enough away from the downtown bars, that noise was never an issue. Carole was easy to reach and very responsive. We will definitely rent this condo again!!!!

Awesome condo. Very clean and great location. Ate breakfast both mornings on the patio overlooking the River Walk. Plenty of shops, restaurants and breweries within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Why they chose this property

The first time we came to Wilmington in 2010, we fell in love. At that time, the Riverwalk was quaint and small and as we strolled down its path we came upon these cute yellow cottage buildings and said to each other " Wouldn't it be so cool to own a piece of this iconic Riverwalk"? Well fast forward to 2022, 224 S. Water St. 1C came up for sale and the rest is history. We absolutely love this little condo and all it has to offer.
