This was the perfect, very clean cozy home for our mini get away. We had a wonderful time and we could not have been happier with our accommodations. The backyard was perfect for our dogs and because we had traveled so far (from Colorado!) and were not able to pack extra things like beach chairs and extra beach towels we were very happy to see them provided. The owners were also able to add an extra night that we requested because we’re having such an amazing time. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!!

Quiet Getaway

I recently had a wonderful stay at this cozy beach bungalow. It was exactly the break I needed from the hustle and bustle of life. I was able to enjoy the many amenities of the home and get out to explore the beach a block away as well as the nearby brewery. I can't wait to stay here again!

Lots of good fishing around

The place is awesome, close to everywhere we needed to go, and my dogs absolutely loved the yard! I couldnt have had a better experience. Easy, convenient, clean, and clear communication.

We stayed for 3 days around July 4th, great location with a short walk to the beach. The home was clean and well kept. The manager was very responsive to messages, would definitely recommend.

Family Time

We came to VA to visit family that we hadn’t seen in awhile. Having a place to relax & not have to spend all our time in public places made our stay so much more enjoyable! Everything was wonderful! No hassles & easy access.

Perfect get away!

Property is just as pictured! Clean, well stocked kitchen very quiet neighborhood, close to everything.. perfect for our dogs to come with us! Back yard is securely fenced in. Nice neighborhood to walk the dogs too! Smart TV’s were good for some down time. The beach chairs and items are supplied. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!!

Great rental!

This is a great property, especially if you have furbabies! I just returned from a trip with my son, mom, and our 2 little dogs. Fenced in backyard is great! The owner really put great care and thought into this rental. There is literally everything you you could need! And the beach is just across the street!

Super cute and comfy!

We could not be any happier with this property! It was exactly what we needed for a short visit with our son and his family. We have no complaints what-so-ever! You can walk to the beach in less than five minutes. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the kids play and it was the ideal space for their dog too. Very close to stores and parks too. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for accommodating such a great visit!

We ended up leaving the property early because we did not feel safe.On the first night, just as we were about to go to bed, a person from across the street came and began banging loudly on the front door. He asked for a jump for his car battery. I declined, and he left looking extremely upset. The situation made us very uncomfortable, especially being in an unfamiliar area at night.Because of this incident, we decided it was best to leave the property early and contacted the agent to request a partial refund. Our request was declined, with the explanation that they have no control over people in the neighborhood. While that may be true, safety is a major concern when traveling, and unfortunately we did not feel safe staying there.In addition to the safety concern, the house itself needs several repairs. The bathroom ceiling is in poor condition, and some of the furniture appears to have been chewed on by animals.Travelers should be aware of these issues before booking. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet our expectations.

PET FRIENDLY

Overall experience was positive. Especially grateful for the pet friendliness of the house- crate at house so that meant not having to transport a crate and the fenced backed yard was wonderful. The house was comfortable and the kitchen was updated. Beds were fine but the couch was uncomfortable and so low that it was difficult for my husband to get up and down without assistance. I should have given more consideration to the idea of having 1 bath for 5 users- but that is not on the owner-it was an adjustment. The street the house is on was okay, but going in the wrong direction a couple blocks could put you in a sketchy area. Again, super friendly and responsive host but I probably would want to find a little more safe feeling neighborhood.

Our family had an incredible time! We brought our two kids and two dogs with us. The home was filled with items above and beyond our needs, even for pets. The kitchen had all major cooking items. We ordered seafood from a local market and had dinner at home most nights. There are some great restaurants close by though! If you forgot to bring any beach items, no worries, because this home had extra toys and beach chairs. The backyard had a great space for washing sand off and laying towels to dry. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. There was a Dollar General (or similar chain) a few minutes down the street in case we needed anything quick. It took truly a few minutes to walk down to the beach - maybe 3 minutes until we hit sand. The beach itself was perfect for younger families. The waves were fun without feeling unsafe. There were so many sand bars, and you can walk out decently far from the shore. We've already recommended this home to other friends for next summer. My kids (7-12ish) had such a fun time! The communication with management was very smooth and they tried to make our stay the best experience. We'll happily stay again!
