Welcome to Cast Your Cares — Your Coastal Getaway in Cape San Blas!
Tucked inside the new gulf-side Villa Del Sol community, Cast Your Cares offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and comfort. Just a short stroll (about 5 minutes) down the community boardwalk brings you to the sands of Cape San Blas. After a sun-soaked day at the beach, kick back in the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, or head to the fully fenced backyard to grill and gather around the propane fire pit under the stars.
This 3 bed / 3.5 bath retreat is thoughtfully appointed, with a well-stocked kitchen, Smart TVs in every room (with Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ & ESPN+), and plenty of extras to make your stay feel like home.

🐾 Pet Friendly! Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome ($75 fee). Please ask about dogs over 75 lbs.
🛏️ Master suite on main (king bed), 2 upstairs ensuite bedrooms (queen beds), plus a queen sleeper sofa downstairs.
🚿 Enclosed outdoor shower with hot/cold water + hooks for towels/swimsuits.
🌭 Backyard with seating for 8, propane fire pit, and Weber gas grill (backup propane provided).
🎾 2 community pickleball courts (paddles + balls provided by us) and a swimming pool just across the street.
☕ Keurig Duo with a full coffee starter kit.
🍳 Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, dinnerware for 12, crockpot, Instant Pot, Ninja blender, and more.
🧺 Starter kits for kitchen and bath (paper towels, dish pods, TP, trash bags, etc.).
🏖️ Beach gear provided: chairs, towels, umbrella, wagon, blanket, toys—and even a kayak for guest use!
👶 Large dog crate, baby gate, and white noise machines in each bedroom.

📺 We don’t have cable, but every TV is a Smart TV with a paid Hulu + Live TV subscription (includes Disney+ and ESPN+). You’re also welcome to stream from your own accounts.
🚤 No boat/trailer parking is allowed in the driveway or common areas per HOA. We can help you find marina storage nearby.
🔒 The only locked space is one owner's closet off the master bath.

We’re Greg and Julie Kern, and Cast Your Cares is the realization of a long-time dream. After vacationing in Cape San Blas for over a decade, we finally made it official in April 2022 and became proud homeowners in this special beach town we’ve grown to love.
What first drew us to the Cape was its laid-back charm—and its reputation for being incredibly pet friendly. Our 13-year-old Pomeranian, Samson, was the original beach explorer, and now he shares the adventure with his "little" brother, Thor, also a Pomeranian. They love it here... and so do we!

It’s more than just a vacation house—it’s a space for rest, fun, and reconnection.
