My family (wife, 2 kids, parents in law) stayed here while we visited family and it was a terrific place to use as a home base. The place was spacious and had so many fun things to do (pool table, pool, hot tub, fire pit ... etc). I would highly recommend and when we go back to visit - we will certainly see if this place is available.

The property is amazing. From the beautiful landscaping to the pool, hot tub, cabana, incredible views, and the large home. It was like staying at our own private resort. The host was awesome as well.

This was a perfect location to host a family reunion. The home is spacious and comfortable. The pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, cabana/kitchen, multiple outdoor sitting areas and beautiful view of Mt. Diablo made it a memorable event for everyone.

Amazing long weekend with extended family at this beautiful and welcoming home! We loved the pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen - also appreciated the well appointed kitchen with everything we need to cook meals. Close to Lafayette and downtown San Francisco - it’s beautiful! Chris, the host, is gracious and available for any questions. We’ll be back! Highly recommend!

This property was amazing! Great views and the outside area with the pool, jacuzzi and grill were fantastic! The only thing to note is that we had elderly people with us and it was tough for them going up and down the stairs to get to the pool and jacuzzi so just a consideration if you have difficulty with stairs. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and Chris was an attentive host, thanks!

Amazing space for our family reunion. Had enough space for family that flew in from all over the states, as well as hosting family in the bay area for dinners and swimming. Everything we needed and more we hadn't thought we needed was provided.If we can ever manage to get everyone in the family together in one place again, this is the place they all said they want to come back to.Chris is a fantastic host. Parts of the property are stunning, thoughtful, and match the price and promise of the listing. The pool area is magical, parking is great, bedrooms are well sized. Many decks. But the house HVAC is flatly insufficient; during our stay the house could not be cooled below 80 degrees during the day, and the host did or could not provide guidance or assistance to improve the situation. With young children and several elderly guests, it was uncomfortable to the point of being problematic. Also, the house lacks an internal area with sufficient seating for everyone in the house, it isn’t evenly stocked to handle the number of occupants it advertises (plenty of towels; not enough silverware). So parts of the house are amazing, but the basics - comfort, utility - ine expects from a property are missing, and the result is disappointing/uncomfortable.
