We had a great weekend staying at this house! Everything was exactly how we expected it to be. The house was clean, the kitchen was stock with enough silverware and cookware for us and it was spacious enough for our big family. We would definitely stay here again!

Secluded vacation home

The home was very lovely. The directions to get to the home were a bit hard to follow. But this was expected in the area. There was also a portion of the lake that was very close right out back.

Tranquility in the forest

We loved the property. Everything was very nice, except the master bedroom toilet. The toilet and toilet brush were disgusting.

Unplug!

Don’t go for the wi-fi speed but for getting away from the hustle and bustle!

The view and wildlife sightings were great. We saw deer every morning and evening and a bear one morning walked right by the kitchen window and sunroom. The bathrooms were clean but there was still paper wrappers from candy on the floor in one room when we checked in and furniture was very dusty. The single bed in the basement was not level and the mattress on one of the beds needs to be replaced. You felt like you were sliding out of the bed. There needs to be a notebook with all of the checking in/out and directions for everything instead of directions taped every where or having to use an iPhone to scan a barcode. ( not convenient for us old folks.) We could not find outdoor lights switch to turn on lights around the spa for night safety or the switch to turn on garbage disposal.

Thank you so much for sharing this feedback! We're thrilled you enjoyed the wildlife—those deer and bear sightings are truly special moments guests treasure. We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues upon arrival and the maintenance concerns with the bed and mattress. We will pass these concerns along to our team members. We'll also locate those outdoor and disposal switches so they're clearly marked for future guests. We hope to have the chance to provide you with a better rental experience. Madison, Railey Vacations
