Enjoying breakfast on the sunny balcony or laying on the sofa in the living room, this is vacation home is the ideal place to for you to relax. Here you can either let go or recover from a day full of activities in the surroundings. It is located on the top floor of house G of the vacational park and offers you in 45m2 all you need for your stay. A complete bath with shower (and hair dryer), a living room, a sleeping room and a dining room with kitchen corner. Wifi in the entire flat enables your connectivity during your stay.

The sleeping room is equipped with a double bed with two mattresses of 90 x 200 cm each and can be separated from the living room by a curtain. In the living room you can find a comfortable couch set, a 32’’-flat-screen-TV, a radio, a cupboard with a small book-exchange-corner as well as brochures and guides for excursions in the region.
Wifi with unlimited data belonging exclusively to the apartment gives you the possibility to stay connected with your business and private contacts.
Sufficient storage-place for your belongings you find in the large closet in the entrance and in the cupboard in the living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4-plate-ceran-stove, extractor, very good under cupboard illumination, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle as well as sufficient pots, plates, glasses and silverware.
From the living room or from the balcony you enjoy the free view up to the mount “Brocken”.
The balcony is equipped with two comfortable chairs with cushions, a table and a clothes horse.
To the house belongs a lift, parking and a central heating.
In the vacation park is located a coin laundry with washing machines and dryer where you can easily wash your clothes using washing coins.

The holiday apartment is located in the vacation park on top of the mountain “Glockenberg” in Altenau. In this well maintained park you can find sports activities (table tenis, and a place with a Basketball net and a football goal), a playground and sufficient parking places. Directly attached to the park is the Spa-Center “Kristall-Saunatherme Heisser Brocken” with his restaurant “Sir Franz”, a bakery and a small shop. Close-by start wonderful hiking-trails all around Altenau and cossing the “Hexenstieg” you can walk up to the “Brocken”. In winter times you have a ski lift and a sledding hill right on the “Glockenberg” .
Walking downhill, you get in a few minutes to Altenau City-Center with the House where Goethe stayed, a supermarket, a church, a pharmacy, different shops and restaurants providing you with all you might need during your stay.

On the border of the National Park Harz you find the quiet town of Altenau. Altenau and his region “Oberharz” are widely recognized by bikers, hikers and mountain bikers. During the winter season the region offers several cross-country ski runs, slopes, ski lifts and sledding hills. Also during the summer season you will find a good amount of exciting activities.
In the herbs park “Altenauer Kräuterpark”, the biggest of its kind in Europe, 1500 different herbs and spices are waiting for you.
Due to his central location Altenau is the ideal starting point for excursions to the region, for example to Clausthal-Zellerfeld (10 km), Bad Harzburg (18 km), Braunlage with the Wurmberg-funicular (18 km), UNESCO-World heritage Goslar (20 km), the summer toboggan-run in St. Andreasberg, the different rock-climbing areas in the “Westharz” and much more.

Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price but can be provided upon request. Rental price for bed linen is 9€/person, rental price for towels is 5€/person. Please indicate during reservation and pay on site.

The tourism taxes are established by the county of Oberharz and must be paid on spot. Herewith you receive the “Gästekarte” which gives you free or rebated access to museums, fun baths, mines, guided hikes and musical activities.
