It was perfect for myself, the two kids and the dogs. Beautiful piece of property and they really enjoyed the river. Unfortunately, as the fishing guide explained, this section of the little pigeon River doesn't have any fish because the local residents have overfished it. It's only stocked here in the winter months and by March, not a fish in sight. We did find other sections of the river where we could fish with a permit - catch and release. Truly beautiful area and the cabin is well maintained and good use of a small space. The river was so peaceful. Bring supplies for s'mores, I didn't realize there was a perfect fire pit too! There is a beautiful otter living nearby - we saw him twice! All of the local residents/neighbors and visitors to the campground were super friendly too.
