Had such high hopes

This property looked great online, the host responded quickly and answered all our questions. If I had to list everything, this would be a long review. Here are some bullet points: 1. There were roaches. We found a huge dead one in my daughter's bed. 2. The back door had obviously been kicked in at one point. 3. The yard is fenced, but the gate has no lock. I fashioned my own lock with some stuff I found around the house. 4. Several lights did not work, including the lights when you first walk in. 5. Floors were filthy. I found the mop so I could clean them, but that was disgusting. I had to wash it with bleach before I could clean the floors (with the cleaning products I had to buy). 6. The neighborhood is awful, and NOT on a golf course as advertised. The host was so attentive with communication, I really wished this house was better. I took several pictures and video's to send to Vrbo, but have not received a reply.
