Condo in downtown Kailua-Kona - walk to restauants, shops, the beach

Come meet Wally the Whale! He hangs in the large living room. Newly renovated condo at Kona Pacific - shops, restaurants and the beach all within walking distance. Elevators and carts to make it easy to check in and haul groceries to your unit. Underground, assigned parking to keep your car cool.
Very comfortable and relaxing large 1 bedroom /2 bath with a queen sleeper in the living room, 55 inch TV with Netflix and sports channel,. two-person settee, bar stools and nice reading chair with a 6 person wicker dining table/chairs, wicker loveseat, side table and chairs on the wrap around lanai.
Two bathrooms with tub/shower combinations with fluffy towels, hairdryer and ammendities. Very comfortable bedroom with king bed and high-count cotton sheets, large reading chair and lanai.
Solar heated swimming pool, location is very close to town. Condo backs to Kuaiakini Highway which can be a bit noisy at times (quitting time) but A/C totally blocks it out. Blackout/noise cancelling honeycomb shades. Great art throughout the condo.
After a day of siteseeing or a visit to thebeach, the solar-heated pool feels great. BBQ area is lovely with a library full of books to borrow.

**The pool will be closed for the entire month of October 2023 for the re-plastering of the pool and for pool deck repairs that are needed after the earthquakes last year. The BBQ grills, restroom and cabana will remain accessible. We do understand this is during Ironman, however, we could not secure a contractor for any other time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

We discovered the Big Island about 5 years ago and love it most of all of the Hawaiian Islands. There is a rhythm on the Big Island - layback and no hurry. People are friendly and helpful.
We love Kona Pacific - central location, concrete buildings so cooler and quiet. Elevators! No stair to climb especially when you are checking in or out or lugging groceries from Costco. Underground parking with actual shopping cards to carry your things to your unit. The solar-heated swimming pool! After a day at the beach, nothing feels better. The nice BBQ and eating area that overlooks the pool! Don't need to carry your BBQ back to your unit, dine alfresco right above the pool. The gardens are beautiful and the birds that sing in the many trees make mornings and evenings very enjoyable.

Why they chose this property

Kona Pacific is close to everything and to catch the FREE trolley is just a short walk. Downtown is close for shopping and an evening stroll.

What makes this property unique

Elevators! Free, under-ground parking. Lovely, landscaped ground. Pool and deck to die for.
