SUMMER SEASON: From late June through Aug this home must be reserved from Saturday to Saturday. However, closer to arrival (4-6 weeks) this policy may be relaxed so please enter your preferred dates to see if they are accepted or contact us directly with questions.
HOLIDAY SEASON: Reservations that include both Christmas and New Years may not be accepted, unless they are 10 days or longer. Reservation arrivals on Christmas Day may also not be accepted. These policies may be relaxed closer to arrival. Please contact us with questions.

The units are typically rented separately, but please inquire if you are interested in renting both. When renting both units, the wall dividing the two living rooms can be opened creating a large and unforgettable space to make memories

No Smoking and No Pets allowed. This is strictly enforced.
Important: This property is a duplex with 2 separate and self-contained homes that share a wall. In some cases you may be able to hear the guests in the adjoining unit. Laundry is shared in the garage between both units and there is shared parking in the driveway area, each home has 2 parking spaces for guests. Please be conscientious of the guests in the other unit during your stay.

Important: Home sits on a bluff and does not have direct beach access, there is a path very near by for beach access.

Wonderful Vacation Home with Stunning Views!!!

We saw the property on VRBO and new this was the "one" for our family getaway! On arrival, we couldn't even believe the expansive views from the home! It is on a bluff overlooking the ocean and yet a short 1 minute stroll to access miles of beach in Cayucos! We felt this property was well equipped and just the perfect spot for us for the ultimate vacation getaway!

Great location. Awesome views. Very comfortable.

The location and views were amazing. Super close to town without having to worry about how busy the beach or town gets. The house was multilevel which made it cool to have separate sleeping and living areas. The only downside was that we were not able to check in until 4:45, due to the cleaners not being done. Overall, if the price is right, we would definitely stay here again.

The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. Easy access to the beach and the pier/downtown. I would give 5 stars, but the TV noise from the adjoining wall was louder than we anticipated. It was disclosed in the listing, but if there was any additional soundproofing that could be added, that would make it a 5 star property.

Ocean waves

This house is perfect for watching and listening to ocean waves in peace. The house is tidy, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is cute and quiet. The sandy beach is easily accessible through beach access points a couple houses down either direction. Cayucos is a very walkable town. We enjoyed walking to restaurants, shopping, and on the sand.

Annual family reunion

We have stayed at this lovely family home with our mother until her 102 birthday. My sister and myself and our husbands were able to say again this year. This home brings back such fond memories that would not be available without U Relax VRBO. Thank you for making it available again.

The house is the perfect hoe for a large family to comfortably get away. Plenty of space, great location, and very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the pots and pans are poor quality. As a family that cooks a lot I wished they were nicer. But that is a very minor complaint for how wonderful everything else is!

This is the one

If you’re looking for that drop dead view of the ocean and want to hear waves crashing nonstop then this is the one. I’m not gonna lie, you share a wall with a neighbor and you can hear them. It doesn’t mater. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is great to cook in. You are so close to this sweet town and everything is within walking distance. We loved it. This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had!

The house was extremely clean and the dishes and cookware were very high quality. We found everything we needed there and had plenty room for our family of five. The view was our favorite! Even in the master bedroom in the back, we slept well to the sound of crashing waves all night. My 9 yr old said "it was perfect white noise to sleep!" Our family was so blessed to find that place on Fathers Day weekend, when we came straight from my fathers funeral. It was a place to recharge, re-connect, and just enjoy the ocean.One last thing; the management texted me multiple times with updates and let me know they were available for any questions or help. Id give 10 stars if I could.

Ocean Views and Waves Outside Your Door

Other than walking into a partially clean house, which was rectified quickly and proficiently by the management company, our stay here was very enjoyable. As mentioned by many others, the walls are thin and you can hear a lot through them. However, we took the chance anyway due to the location directly above the Pacific Ocean. It was even more picturesque than the photos could advertise! We used the kitchen for several meals and it was very nicely equipped. We stayed in the loft BR as it had the best view but used the bigger bathroom by the kitchen. We were very comfortable lacked nothing for the 8 days we were there. Cayucos is small and wasn’t very busy since it was off season. We did many different activities in the surrounding towns but we were always happy to come back to our very inviting house.

The view was great and the location was perfect and as advertised. The house left a lot to be desired though. One of the beds had stained pillow cases and dirty sheets. The living room shares a hallow pocket wall with a huge sliding door with the neighbor, so you can hear literally everything they say and do. My wife and I tried to be quiet and keeping that in mind, which is not what you want to worry about on a vacation. Overall, great location and view, but the house was not great.

Great Location

The home was in a great location. It was very clean. The ocean views can’t be beat. It had plenty of room to hang out together or take a moment to do things apart. It could use a little updating, but the location to the shore made up for it. The heater didn’t work the first night, but the property manager made sure to get someone out to fix it the next morning. Communication was prompt and helpful throughout. As noted in the description, it is a duplex and you can hear everything in the next unit if it is occupied, as the walls are paper thin. All in all we had a great time and appreciated being able to be so close to the water and see the birds and sea otters playing right out the front window.
