Just wonderful !!Steps from your own secluded beach to food and shopping just across the street !!Everything was super close like all the things we wanted to do on the north shore !!Lots of food close by and house had everything we needed for the the 11 of us !!
Experience the Aloha of Hawaii and the North Shore!
I grew up on Oahu and went to school on the North Shore. We love and enjoy bringing our family back to the islands, and the aloha that is felt in this beautiful part of the islands. You cannot go wrong staying in Hau’ula and enjoying the food, people and beaches of the island. The accommodations, access to the beach and the open grassy area are awesome.
There were 7 adults in our party and we all had a great time. The location of the property is perfect! It is close to lots of great activities but feels a bit remote, since you are so close to the water. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Hauula! The property was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and very well maintained. From the moment we arrived, we could tell that great care had been taken to make sure guests feel comfortable and welcome. The house was clean and had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to beach gear and extra linens. The location was perfect—close enough to local beaches and attractions, but tucked away enough to enjoy a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay on Oahu’s North Shore.Mahalo for a great stay!
This is a beautiful house with an even more beautiful backyard view. The house was perfect for our group of 9. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils and even a nice supply of spices and seasonings. The surrounding neighbors are friendly. I would definitely book this house again.
We all loved this house and the location. Perfect for going to the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, etc. and having CVS across the street made things even easier. Loved every second of our stay there. Thank you!!!
We had such a fabulous stay. The property manager let us check in early to get our groceries in the fridge. It was super close to some amazing beaches. We did a gorgeous hike close by and of course went to the PCC. The house was perfect for our group and we loved every minute
What an AMAZING experience! I booked this house for a Family Vacation with 3 separate families and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay in Oahu! The house was gorgeous with tons of space and AC in every bedroom. The property manager was extremely helpful and easy to get ahold of. The location had everything you needed including beachfront access, a grocery/drug store 2 blocks away and tons of hiking trails/activities close by! Highly recommended to anyone wanting to experience the more relaxed side of Oahu and get away from the busy tourist life of Waikiki. Thanks again for having us and making memories in your beautiful home!
There is a beautiful view from the house. Our family of 12 totally enjoyed this home which was well stocked. The beach was just steps away and very nice. The only things we didn’t like was it smelled a little musty downstairs. I think that may be due to Hawaii’s climate. Overall we loved this home and would stay here again.
It was very comfortable and conveniently located. Half the garage was filled with paint and other supplies so it was in the way to do laundry. The middle shower leaked into the garage so we could've use that shower. Windows need to be cleaned.
We had an amazing week in this spacious and well appointed home. We had everything we needed and more.
The 11 of us (6 adults, 5 children) swam, boogie boarded, snorkeled, hiked, ate, watched movies and toured much of the island. Polynesian Cultural Center just up the road was a real bonus; don’t miss their luau and the Breath of Life show! The beach just out the door and Hukilau Beach up the road we’re just right for us. Thanks for sharing your home!❤️
I was apprehensive, as this is my first VRBO rental. It was perfect for our family! The rooms were spacious enough that everyone had privacy when desired. Well appointed, we lacked for nothing in the kitchen, bathrooms or laundry. My grandson lived the toys for home and beach and my sons and grandsons made good use of the beach items. Neighbors were friendly. The suggested beaches, restaurant's,etc. on the welcome sheets were great! One suggestion: an addition outside trash receptacle. The one there was full upon our arrival. Trash day was Thursday, but once we cleaned and took out trash, it was full again. Otherwise, we loved it and would recommend to others!

Not worth it for the price
Extremely dirty. There was literal hair in the tub when we arrived at check in. Also evidence they don’t sweep since by the toilet a rotting trash bin had debris all over. Not clear from listing that it’s a 2 story condo and not an actual house. The sheets had “crusty” questionable substances on them as well.Community around the beach, not beachfront property.
For us, our accommodations while we vacation are as important as the activities that we do. We have a large family with multiple married couples so finding just the right place can be tricky. This house suited our needs perfectly because it had three bedrooms for couples along with two bedrooms with bunkbeds for kids. Everyone in our group had just the right place to sleep each night. Beyond this basic necessity, the house was located just a short walk from the beach (seriously, like 2 minutes down a lovely grass path). I think that one of the things that I will miss most is the view of the waves rolling in on the beach and palm trees swaying in the breeze that can be seen through the sliding glass door while sitting at the counter. The house is also located conveniently close to major attractions like the Polynesian Cultural Center, CLIMB Works zip lining, Kualoa Ranch, the LDS temple, BYU Hawaii, the Sugar Mill (get the coconut shrimp at Seven Brothers). Other things like Shark's Cove, Turtle Beach, and Waimea Botanical Garden/Falls are about 30 Minutes away. The Dole Planation is 45 minutes. Anything in Honolulu is an hour away (Pearl Harbor, Airport, Sea Life Park). However, while you are driving, you always have the ocean on one side and gorgeous mountains on the other so even driving in Hawaii is really part of the vacation. The house was clean and well stocked. The manager was responsive any time that we needed anything.

Overall disappointing
The house is very nice inside but overall there were a lot of issues. We had issues getting into the house when we arrived. The door handle was broken. The outside area of the house was a mess. Not at all like the pictures. The beautiful lounge chairs were filthy and covered with chicken poop. There was a broken screen laying on the porch. The garage was a mess. All of the “beach equipment” that is pictured in the listing is unusable. It was all thrown in a storage area and was either broken or disgustingly dirty with mold and mildew. The basement had a very strong mildew odor that lasted all week. It caused issues with a member of our party that has allergies. The downstairs toilet seat was covered with mold when we arrived. Most of the remotes for the fans and air conditioners needed batteries. The smoke detector started going off towards the end of our stay and we had to change the battery on that. The upstairs kitchen and bathrooms had ants. The property manager did bring us ant traps to put out. In general it seemed like the property had not been inspected and cleaned before we arrived. The property was not as it appeared in the pictures and that was very disappointing. We had a nice stay but for the price we expected it to be much much better.
