An oasis with a PRIVATE TWO ACRE LAKE, pedal boat, pool table, fitness room with a sauna (perfect for after your day’s adventure and exploration). Other wonders include a front porch with a scenic view of the lake, stone fire pit, outdoor grill, game room, art room, and all sits in a beautifully landscaped eleven acres of land to explore. (For events please inquire about event pricing - weddings, birthdays and other special gatherings.)

There is no AC - all rooms have fans and night time temperatures are in the 50s and 60s throughout the summer months.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please check the stove and check that the sauna has both levers on “off”.
Keep all recycle separate. Bins in the back of the house for recycle and for regular trash.
Please do not leave boat in water. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
STOVE: The stove is a commercial propane stove. Please leave the hot plates on the stove during use. (Two reasons: the propane fire damages the pots)
The boat can be docked through the grassy area - slightly lift on the ends so the propellers in the back do not get stuck on the grass.
CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS: Pick up as best as possible. Take trash out (closed bag please). Please ensure sauna is off and lights and vents are off.

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was perfect for our family. It was very nice to stay together with family instead of being in hotel room rooms. The place was very nicely set up clean and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms were great. And the host was very friendly and responded quickly.

Beautiful home with great amenities for families! Grandkids had a blast and there were so many conversation areas all around the house so all of us could gather for fun and retreat to small spaces for quiet time to be alone for a bit.

The property was great—fields for playing games, the lake was very clean and cool, not muddy or weedy, the grill was perfect for dinner and the fire pit for s’mores and chatting after the kids were all asleep. The kids all enjoyed paddling the boat and using the inflatable raft. The beds were all very comfortable and the house was well appointed and met all of our needs and then some. The check-in and check-out times were great; it’s nice to be able to get in early and not have to get up super early and be rushed to get out on your last day so that you can really maximize your vacation. Katie was super responsive and a gracious and generous host. It was a perfect spot for our big group, including 7 kids aged 2-7, and we had an absolutely wonderful stay.

Perfect country weekend getaway

Large and comfy house, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need to prepare food and entertain. The lake was perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, and fishing. The owner was very accommodating and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Quiet surroundings and beautiful forest all around. We will definitely stay again!

Property was clean and accessible. The amenities in the house were very nice such as the sauna and workout space. The layout provided privacy and space for all guests. The towns are all about 30 minute drive but the nature is beautiful in the surrounding area.

Great house for families in quiet countryside

We stayed at Steward Manor with a few other families while our boys played baseball at All Star village. We loved the quiet mornings seeing deer by the pond, the spacious living room/dining area, and playing pool. About a 25 min drive i. To town but it was well worth it. Host was super friendly and helpful. Loved our stay here.

Great family getaway

Very beautiful setting. House is very cool with so many amenities for a great family gathering. Host provided us with everything we needed… toiletries, bedding, towels, dish soap, clothes detergent, life jackets, beach towels, etc. all we really needed was our food. The drive to and from Cooperstown for games was a little longer than we expected but still doable. I would highly recommend this property!

Excellent Weekend Stay

We had a large group in town for HOF induction weekend. The house and the property far exceeded our expectations. There is so much space in the house that we could all be together if we wanted, but also had the ability to get away to our own space. The outdoors had a large porch overlooking the pond, as well as a fire pit and a few fields to let the kids run around. The pond was awesome - clear, clean, great for swimming. Katie was an awesome host - very quick to respond with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this spot and will stay here again if we ever return to the area.

Our family booked a 4-night stay for our annual family vacation. Upon arrival we immediately noticed how clean and fully stocked the home was. Our host Katie had thought of EVERYTHING and truly made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, there were dozens of games to play, plenty of extra toilet paper and she even supplied the wood for our evening bonfires!The exterior property is gorgeous. Our family enjoyed many relaxing strolls around the pond, and our youngest family member (2.5 years old) absolutely loved the tiny frogs, tadpoles, fish and salamanders he came across. The boat and raft were fun activities, and the wrap around porch was perfect to relax on during a brief rain shower.During our stay we were blessed to celebrate both a gender reveal and a proposal with the pond and property as the perfect backdrop. We could not have asked for a more beautiful location to make these memories at.While staying at the property we did have a minor issue and reached out to our host. She responded quickly and thoroughly and the issue was resolved.All in all, we as a family confidently agreed that we loved everything about our vacation, loved the location and love that the memories we made at The Stewart Manor will last a lifetime.
