The apartment house Monasterio de San Antonio is a very beautiful, more than 200 years old former monastery building with typical courtyard, winding stairs and a large sun terrace with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains. It is a good example of Canarian architecture. During the complete restoration in 2002, the originality and the charm were completely preserved. The mostly young international guests like to use Apartamentos Monasterio de San Antonio as an ideal starting point for mountain bike or hiking tours as well as for trips to the various regions of the island.

The house is located on the green outskirts of Icod de los Vinos at about 325 meters above sea level. The famous Dragon Tree and the historic city center are only about 800 meters away. It is a quiet location with beautiful mountain and Atlantic views. Nearby there are also restaurants, shops and supermarkets. One of the largest volcanic caves (La Cueva del Viento) is also nearby and the nearest beach (Playa de San Marcos) with bars and restaurants is just 3.5 km.

The modern furnished apartment is located on the first floor directly to the road at almost street level (quadruple glazing). The living area has a large modern and fully equipped kitchen (incl. Microwave), a breakfast bar and a comfortable sofa. The bedroom is equipped with a 150 cm large French bed. The bathroom connects directly to the bedroom. German satellite TV or on request local TV via DVB-T. For outdoor living our large communal roof terrace can be used. The apartment is very high quality equipped. The low price is explained by the location to the street, through which noise pollution can not be excluded. For noise sensitive people this apartment is not suitable.
