These listings are difficult to choose because not much description about “ski in ski out”. This property was great just hard to find from the ski run? But would definitely rent it again.

We enjoyed this property especially the ski in and ski out location. The set up of the house was great for kids and two families. The ease of jumping right on the slopes was perfect. The kitchen supplies-pots, pans and utensils were a bit lacking and our hot tub that we paid extra for was dirty and we did not get to enjoy it, however we were refunded and we appreciated the effort made to make it possible. It just didn’t work out. We would stay here again.

Great experience with this property and host. Pics were accurate and location was perfect for ski in/ski out. Loved having the area downstairs to get your boots off and plenty of space to hang your gear. The youngest in our group was 7 and had no problem getting to the Heading Home run. Had an issue with the hot tub but host was responsive and handled it properly. Kitchen supplies could be improved-lack of decent sized pots/pans, basic set of measuring cups that one would expect in a rental.

Hi Dean! We appreciate you sharing your thoughts. We apologize if your experience fell short of your expectations. The storm that took place when you were there made the incident unusual. Your feedback, however, has been taken into consideration and will enable us to improve and guarantee that this won't happen again. -Resort Properties of Angel Fire

Angel Fire is a terrific location, and October is spectacular! We rent properties there 3-4 times a year. If you are looking to fit A LOT of people this is a place. Beds are everywhere, even in the downstairs common area (which only has a bed and a bench). All kitchen equipment and supplies are very old, mismatched, and rusty. The cabin doesn’t even have regular salt. The outdoor patio has two metal chairs. A fireplace was featured, but no chopped wood provided. The hot tub has an extra fee of $200. We were provided with a key (one only!) which had to be physically picked up and dropped off at the management office, while house has a digital lock. One key doesn't easily accommodate family members doing different activities (some in our group biked, others hiked). No streaming services are set up on the TV (need to use your own account) and 2 puzzles are provided in lieu of board games. We enjoyed the shuffle board and the sauna (instructions on how to adjust temperature would be helpful though, it was lukewarm the first day we used it). Considered leaving earlier and stayed only because we had outdoor activities planned.

4 Adults; 7 Kids (range 8-17) and most are experiences skiers who go annual ski trips to New Mexico or Colorado and have had various Ski In/Ski Out experiences. The space was accommodating and we didn't feel on top of one another. We had plenty of beds and everyone was comfortable. The Sauna and Jacuzzi were great and the internet was good too which helped keep the kids occupied at times. We had a few little cabin issues that are common with mountain rentals and don't need to be mentioned here but the two biggest issues are as follows;1) Dishwasher leaked on day 1 which rendered it useless for the rest of the trip and we had to hand wash//dry everything. The property manager was great though and responded quickly to our needs. We received extra linens, a drying rack, a new mattress all in the same day and we're given a partial discount but this was still a big bummer for us to have to deal with on day 1.2) Not a true Ski In/Ski Out in my opinion. We didn't have a lot of snow this season but even if we did it would be a Ski In/Hike Out at best. The issue is that to get to the Headed Home trail you are going to have to walk 30 yards, slightly uphill. The fact that we didn't have snow actually made the hike out easier. So if we had a lot of snow it would be easy to perhaps ski in to the back porch and walk 5-10 yards but to get out you would need to be ready to either cross country pole a bit uphill or hike in the snow while carrying the gear.

Thank you very much for providing your feedback of your experience, Anthony. We apologize once more for the leaking dishwasher, as well as for the minor issues, during your stay. Despite these and the lack of snow (plus you finding the cabin as ski in/hike out and not ski out), we are relieved to know that you still rated your stay good with 4 stars during your families' ski trip in Angel Fire this winter. We appreciate you for sharing both the negatives and positives of your stay with us, and we thank you for the opportunity for us to address the issue during your stay
Thank you for the opportunity to host you, and for your rating, Robert!
