The perfect get-a-way

We had a wonderful time in Preston celebrating Parents’ Weekend. Paula is the absolute best host who answered all of our questions and gave plenty of tips for fun activities and places to eat. The home was gorgeous and offered everything needed (and so much more). From the lovely fall decor to the tasty treats waiting for us…We felt right at home during our stay, and we will definitely be back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us, Paula. Definitely a 10-10 stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming house in Preston, CT! From the moment we arrived, everything about the property exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The backyard was equally great: spacious, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal outdoors. However, the furniture around the fire pit needs an upgrade. The neighborhood itself was quiet and welcoming, making it easy to unwind while still being close to everything. Preston is such a lovely area, with a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Mystic, CT—a vibrant nearby town filled with great restaurants, shops, and of course, the famous Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. The location also made it easy to explore local vineyards and scenic drives throughout the region.A special thank you to our host, Paula, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Communication was outstanding — Paula was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions quickly and thoroughly. They also provided fantastic recommendations for local activities, including some excellent vineyards. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Connecticut!

Wonderful Weekend Away

The house was a wonderful home base for our long weekend in the Mystic area. The house was extremely spacious and private, everything was well stocked and the s'mores basket was wonderful. Paula was easy to communicate with and reached out multiple times to ensure that all the information was received for our stay.
