Lovely rental. Clean, spacious. The shower is almost heaven!! So peaceful to sit on the back porch and watch the lake life revolve around you. Would recommend to old or young.

We loved our family trip to This Place Rocks! It was everything we hoped for! We met for a little family reunion and the cousins from CA wanted to see Lake Erie and fish for walleye. The house is beautiful and so comfortable and the fire on the rocks overlooking a Lake Erie sunset was amazing! The guys got their limit of walleye in just a few hours on their charter! Janelle was so very kind and helpful for anything we needed! What a great Host! Thank you for an amazing place to make memories! The candy was so great, too! I got more to bring home ;) See you next time!

We rented three houses — Dreamy Lake House, This Place Rocks!, and The Blue House — from Jeanelle for our family reunion, and she was an exceptional host. She was extremely responsive, thoughtful, and easy to work with throughout our stay. All three homes are beautifully updated, with high‑quality bedding, plush towels, and countless details that show real care and attention. Our family had a wonderful time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The house was actually nicer than expected. Very comfortable and spacious. Very clean and had everything anyone could need. We would definitely consider staying there again. The outdoors was amazing! Everything about the place was amazing. The only thing I thought it should have had was a few more mirrors (full length) a few extra blankets and maybe a clock. Other than that, our stay was perfect!

Hosts were so very sweet and kind. We had 8 women celebrating a 60th birthday. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The yard and fire pit were amazing and the view was spectacular!We loved the large dining table that sat 10 people.

Perfect weekend getaway

We had a group of girls stay for the weekend and had the best time. We spent as much time as possible outside sitting by the water the views were just what we wanted. The house had everything we were looking for. We would stay again.

The perfect spot for girls weekend!

Stayed here with a group of dear friends and we felt so at home, the house and property are just beautiful! We had fun hitting the wine cellars in Northeast, exploring Presque Isle State Park & having beer flights at Erie Brewing. Highly recommend!

Great getaway

Beautiful home & outside view, perfect family vacation spot! Our family really loved the outside deck for alfresco dining and the shale patio/fire pit for sunset. (Hosts are in process of installing a second shower), making all amenities perfect!

Stunning view

We enjoyed our stay at This Place Rocks. The house was very nice and the view was absolutely amazing! We loved relaxing outside and spent a lot of time watching the lake and listening to the waves and the waterfall. It was only about a 15 minute drive from Presque Isle.
