The house was cozy, very cutely decorated. Had all the accessories you would need. Was close to idea attractions, easy access to the highway. Host was friendly and accommodating.
Great property that fit our needs. The host was quick with responding to questions. So many amenities were provided that made the stay even less stressful and more enjoyable. My kids loved the hot chocolate selections in the coffee bar.
The house was very cozy. The beds were very comfortable and we had the best night of sleep. The shower was hot and the heater kept us warm throughout the cold nights. We almost wished we were snowed in so we could stay a few more nights.
The home was in a convenient location. Basically 12-15 min to all the places I needed to get to.LOVED the sleep number bed! The electric fireplace was cool too and made the living room nice n toasty. The host was very helpful at check-in. Door code was not working but I called her and she immediately answered and reset it remotely. Coffee bar in kitchen also nice touch. Thank you for hosting my family!

The house had character and host provided a very special history about the area.
Absolutely loved it...the house is beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet. We came to visit a sick relative....after a long day coming back to the house was relaxing...beds were amazing
We enjoyed our stay at the Tyler house. The front bedroom was good for our 85 year old mom as the shower was an easy step in. Coffee and snacks were great. Squeaky floors and lack of any tissues were the only drawbacks. Communication with Rachel was easy and she was very responsive.

Great stay. The only thing to note is that the floors are creaky, especially the stairs. It's not a big deal, but if you're not used to older homes, it can be bothersome.
My relatives flew in from overseas to Texas, and I took them to hike at Palo Dura Canyon State Park. We stayed in this cozy house for two nights.
After tiring hikes, it was wonderful to relax and recharge in such a clean and welcoming place, filling our trip with beautiful memories.
For starters, the location of this home is perfection for any outings to Market Street grocery store, Scooters coffee, retail of any kind, and many restaurants tucked into very safe and easily accessible shopping areas. The entire place was Spic-n-Span in every nook and cranny, which is very important to us. The neighbor next door was very kind and respectful. We cooked most of our meals there and had everything we needed. The attention to details of laundry supplies, games, furniture for use while we sewed/quilted, coffee station items, hooks in the bathroom, closet items... we can only say a pair of kitchen scissors would have been handy to open up stubborn bags of lettuce or shrink-wrap around a few groceries. Incredibly beautiful and expertly manicured mansions are just blocks away for walking west of Washington Street every evening, which we took advantage of. The larger park over near Amarillo College was always full of families engaging in sports every evening, so that we comforting to walk by. Sleeping at night was so quiet and comfortable; the heating and cooling system very efficient to keep up with the 40's at night and 80's during the day. We never had to travel more than 9 minutes to head to a quilt shop, Michaels, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, or Burlington Coat Factory; so conveniently located!! Our best meal was at India Oven; again, so close to travel to. My daughter and I thank you for a lovely quilting get-away for the whole week. What a treasure to stay here!
Check in was easy & accommodations were very nice. The little details were well thought out- loved the breakfast and coffee provisions! It was a little warm in the upstairs bedroom but the rest of the house cooled nicely. Owner was quick to respond to questions.
Property is well maintained, beautifully updated, good amenities, and property owner provides excellent communication. -John

The Tyler House was thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and rest with a mix of old home charm and modern updates, including a newly updated bathroom on the main floor. This 2-story home features original hardwood floors throughout along with craftsman details and reglazed cast-iron tub in the master bathroom. Large, newer windows throughout home provide amazing natural light. Guests can enjoy the outdoors by walking across the one-way street to Oliver Eakle Park, unwind on the front porch, or relax in the back yard with outdoor dining area and yard games.
