Great house, provides everything you need

The Cotton House by the sea provides everything you can want on the island. From walking down to the ocean, a quick dip in the pool, spacious bedrooms, outdoor shower, back patio with ceiling fans to relax and watch the sun set to name just a few things. It is private, yet close enough to restaurants, other beaches and Christiansted. We would recommend this place to all.

House was as advertised. Outdoor shower was cool. The house has plenty of cool seating. Pool was great. We snorkeled off the beach. Visibility poor but tons of conch.

Quiet Solitude

The house is located in a perfect place. Just above Solitude Bay with access to a short beach and the constant breezes and sound of the surf. It is near enough to town and other conveniences while being totally private. Many of the best hikes and beaches are within a 10 minutes drive. The interior of the house is fine. The furniture on the veranda needs work and the pool and surroundIng area are in need of repair.

Wonderful holiday getaway

We had a spectacular stay at Cotton House By the Sea. We loved the northeast side of St. Croix and the property was near multiple beaches, outdoor activities, snorkeling adventures, and great restaurants and convenience stores. The grounds were gorgeous and the house was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and the rooms were spacious and clean. The views of the pool, backyard, Carribean, and Buck Island never ceased to take our breath away. The the host and his agents were always quick with helpful advice. We would definitely stay there again.

Cotton house

Love St Croix view was great! House was great but pool was green and stayed that way most if the week. Not able to enjoy it. Was given refund but I would love to enjoy the experience not the refund.

Good day. Thank you for your review. Unfortunately the pool pump cracked the morning of your arrival, and there were no replacements on island. It had to be shipped, which took a few days. It then had to be installed and restarted. It then took a few days for the chemicals to do their job. Unfortunately we're on an island and mechanical things break frequently due to the climate. There's no way to predict when these things will happen. We're sorry it affected your stay.

Cotton House By the Sea

House is the perfect location! Peaceful and quiet. View and landscaping are gorgeous. When we return to STX if our numbers are right, we will look into returning to Cotton House by the Sea.The inside of the house has a very nice layout. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Two of the showers are amazing- one outside, one just like being outside when the doors and windows are open! The beds are comfortable, and we enjoyed the well accommodated kitchen when we were preparing meals and drinks. The kitchen has all one needs. There are many useful small appliances: juicer, blender, coffee bean grinder, and much more... and enough kitchen and personal items (like cooking spices, dishwasher detergent, reef safe sun lotions, and shampoo) to get you started. Nice touch. There were also three small beach chairs available to take to neighboring beaches. This was nice for us as we were there with my 86 year old dad.Sonya thanks for your help during our stay.

Charming Property on Water's Edge

The Cotton House checked all the boxes. Right on the water, across from Buck Island, so you hear the waves and breezes constantly. Neat little lawn area w safe stabel steps gently sloping to the ocean. A/C worked great in all rooms, including Living Room. Very well stocked w coffee and all paper products amd clothes washing detergents. One TV (in Living Room). Two of the three rooms have sea views. Beautiful, deep balcony across the entire back of the house, over the pool deck below. All furniture was maintianed. Pool is large and well maintianed. Kitchen large enough for two cooks at a time. 10 minutes to Christiansted. This home was perfect for a famiky or group of 6. Plenty of space. Multiple levels to spread out. Beautiful outdoor spaces.
