Vacation - Peace - Nature - Baltic Sea - Family-run!

In our lovingly restored country house, with a family-owned riding stable + riding hall, there are 11 apartments of different sizes in country house style. Quiet and yet central. 4 km to Kühlungsborn to the beach or 3 km to Heiligendamm to the beach. Bakers and a restaurant are in the village. You can book the whole house or individual apartments.
There is seating in the green for all apartments.
Equipment: kitchenette with toaster, coffee maker, kettle, cooking facilities, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, dining area.
Each apartment has a cozy living area, equipped with a sofa bed, armchair, coffee table and flat screen TV. All bathrooms have a shower with toilet and hairdryer. All apartments have laminate flooring and WiFi.
A fireplace room with space for 25 people and adjacent kitchen is available for an extra flat rate.

Schön ländlich

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit allem was nötig ist! Kinderstuhl auf Anfrage möglich. Einkaufen ist jeden Tag möglich und hilft gerade wenn man am ersten Tag vielleicht noch etwas dringend braucht. Alles sehenswerte in Reichweite! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir hatten sehr viel Freude in der Ferienwohnung. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei und sind sehr viel Fahrrad gefahren. Dies war von Steffenshagen sehr gut möglich. Das Internet ist leider nicht sehr gut. Im Ort selber gibt es einen Bäcker. Wenn man essen gehen möchte, muss man eher nach Kühlungsborn.

Ein ruhiger Aufenthalt

Wir konnten dort schöne Tage verbringen, hätten uns zum Abschied noch einen kurzen Wortwechsel gewünscht oder mehr Verbrauchsprodukte, wie Küchenrollen, Reinigungsprodukte oder Toilettenpapier. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gewesen und bot mit der Nähe nach Kühlungsborn eine perfekte Möglichkeit zu einer richtigen Stadt.

Ruhige, saubere Unterkunft, nah an der Ostsee.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage der Wohnungen und die Ruhe, sowie alle Einrichtungen (Bäcker/Restaurants) waren in der Nähe.

Für Kurzaufenthalte gut geeignet mit einem Aber!

Wir waren für wenige Tage dort, um einige Ziele in der Umgebung zu bereisen. Das war von dem Standort Steffenshagen mit einem Fahrzeug auch sehr gut möglich. Die Wohnung ist klein, renoviert mit innenliegendem Bad (Abzug, kein Fenster) und für einen Kurzurlaub, der auf Ausflüge abzielt, vollkommen in Ordnung. Sie befindet sich auf einem Reiterhof, zu dem wir aber keinen weiteren Kontakt hatten. ABER: Wer sich allerdings vor Fliegen ekelt, sollte entsprechend Abstand nehmen. Trotz Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern, fanden sich in der Wohnung immer wieder neue Fliegen ein. Wir haben irgendwann aufgehört, alle zu töten, weil einfach immer wieder welche nachkamen. Check-in und Check-out waren unkompliziert.

Urlaub abseits von Kühlungsborn

Der Urlaub in Steffenshagen hat uns grundsätzlich gut gefallen. Wir wurden von Herrn Stechow bei Anreise freundlich begrüßt. Er hat uns in seiner ruhigen Art alles wichtige zur FeWo erklärt. Die FeWo hat grundsätzlich der Beschreibung im Internet entsprochen und war bei Anreise auch sauber. Die Ausstattung der FeWo mit Geschirr ist nicht sehr üppig (jeweils 3 Kaffeebecher, große und kleine Teller, Müslischalen, kleine Trinkgläser). Es ist ein schmaler Geschirrspüler, eine Kaffeemaschine, ein Toaster und ein Wasserkocher vorhanden. Man sollte wissen, dass man in Steffenshagen so gut wie keinen Handyempfang hat. Mit D2 und O2 gar nicht, im D1 Netz soll es lt. Herrn Stechow halbwegs funktionieren. Telefonieren wird im O2 und D2 Netz eher nicht klappen. Das vorhandene WLAN war in unserer FeWo Nr. 3 sehr dürftig (max. 1000er DSL lt. Speedtest), Filme über Netflix streamen war quasi nicht möglich. Das WLAN reicht für WhatsApp und mit dem Smartphone im Netz surfen knapp aus, zumal es nicht immer stabil funktioniert hat. Bis Kühlungsborn sind es bis zur Promenade bzw. zum Strand ca. 7 - 8 KM, so dass zumindest Fahrräder benötigt werden. Kostenlose Parkplätze für den PKW sind in Kühlungsborn eher nicht zu finden. Wer abends gerne noch auf der Promenade spazieren gehen möchte, sollte zwingend mit dem Rad nach Kühlungsborn fahren. Bis zum Bäcker sind es von der FeWo ca. 1,5 KM, ebenso zum Restaurant "Ostwind", wo es u.a. leckerer Burger gibt. insbesondere den nicht vorhandenen Handyempfang und die Entfernung nach Kühlungsborn sollte man bei einer Buchung wissen.

FeWo war in Ordnung, Reitunterricht war SPITZE

Hauptsächlich haben wir uns wegen dem Reitunterricht für diese FeWo entschieden - und das haben wir nicht bereut. Meine Kinder konnten beim Frühstück auf die Pferdekoppel schauen. Den Reitunterricht fanden sie super. Sie wurden die Woche mit einbezogen und alle sind sehr nett gewesen. Wir hatten die ganze Woche gutes Wetter und hatten uns daher wenig in der FeWo aufgehalten. Wir sind zu dritt mit Hund gewesen - die Wohnung ist auch für 4 Personen möglich - das ist m.E. dann zu eng für alle. Die Ferienwohnung wies kleine Mängel auf, die Ecken der Dusche waren schwarz, dicke Staubflocken beim Einzug, im Schlafraum ging ein Fenster nicht zuschließen (bereits gemeldet), Steckdose vom Fernsehkabel war aus der Wand, Haken in Garderobe fehlte, daher lag die Schraube frei - Verletzungsgefahr - wie bereits oben erwähnt: kleine Mängel, die behoben werden können, aber unabhängig davon ist m.E., der Preis für eine Wohnung mit lautem Kühlschrank, altem Fernseher, keine Spülmaschine, wenig Albstellfläche für Geschirr - zu hoch - im Vergleich zu anderen Angeboten in der näheren Umgebung.
