This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at the property. This trip the hot tub was down, but we were notified ahead of time. It is a fabulous little house with privacy and great mountain views. We will be back!
Excellent off grid experience peace and quiet with Excellent mountain views beautiful floral comfortably bed cozy for two HOT TUB DEVINE would stay here again thanks
We stayed at this Vrbo as it was close but not too close to Durango. We loved the seclusion and beautiful views, especially being able to sit outside at night and see so many stars. The property was the perfect size for the two of us! Very cute and cozy!
We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we wanted. It was quiet, secluded and the house met our expectations. Very clean and neat. The outside landscaping was beautiful with the mountains in the distance that were visible and enjoyed having coffee out on the deck and out by the sitting area also. We appreciated the ammendities that was offered and was allowed to use during our stay, including the hammock. I really liked where it was located and the property was big enough it gave us the opportunity to wander the area and look at what Colorodo has that Missouri doesn't when it comes to vegetation, landscaping, and ect. I've never seen wild cactus like I did there with the desert like soil and type of plants that grow there. I liked everything about it and didn't want to leave. My husband and I were more than satisfied and fulfilled our expectations. Can't forget the little prairie dog towns we saw just on both sides of the road driving up to the driveway of the house. That was the first for me seeing prairie dogs and their burrows.
Awesome property! Very private. Beautiful view in back. Phenomenal night sky!! Wonderfully landscaped and maintained yard. Awesome mineral hot tub. Just wish the bed was newer...
Overall 5 stars!!!
Super clean. And very well appointed both inside and out. Comfortable, quiet, peaceful. Great view of the surrounding countryside and mountains. Off the beaten path and super close to the airport. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!!
We loved being out in the middle of nowhere. There was everything we needed, plus more. I would not advise renting this property if you are not driving an SUV, the road was rough in spots.⁹
We enjoyed our stay at Where the Buffalo Roam. Such a quaint, but comfortable little cabin. The views were absolutely breathtaking! The outdoor space is just perfect for taking them in. The only negative were the mosquitos and gnats. Make sure you have bug spray! The bugs made being outdoors very difficult, even with the citronella candles lit. Overall, it's definitely worth the price!
Had a really nice stay, it was very nice, clean, and the hot tub was a very cool perk! The only issue we had was that we were not informed that the neighbor was coming to water the flowers/plants. That scared us as well as her when I came out to ask them what she was doing here. Alittle heads up would of been nice, other than that isolated incident it was a great stay and we would stay there again!

This is a cute little cabin with a nice hot tub but renter beware.... the drive to it is on a few miles of rough dirt roads and then when you get to the driveway it's a steep hill with twists and turns on even worse dirt! A truck with a trailer is difficult to get up this hill. We rented it during the Four Corners Rally and trailered our motorcycle but couldn't take our motorcycle off the trailer because it was too rough to ride it out of there. Huge disappointment!

This cabin is remote, yet close to the airport and to Durango. Very quiet and beautiful views of the mountains. Counter space was limited and and a bit of a challenge if preparing multiple meal items at the same time. Hot tub was a wonderful experience. Lots of evidence of wildlife tracks in the snow surrounding the cabin. Plenty of room for 2 people. Décor was tasteful yet not overwhelming. Cabinets well stocked with ingredients and tableware. Very clean place. Temps got as low as 4 degrees during our stay and we were very comfortable. If you enjoy privacy, this is the place. Highly recommend.
