Our family of 4 and 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at the property. The lawn and stream plus fire pit and nice deck gave us plenty of outdoor space to enjoy for meals, stargazing, birwatching, and playing. The cornhole game was a big hit too! The house and beds were comfortable, kichen supplies and spices/condiments well stocked, and we had plenty of space whiltle still feeling cozy. Would stay here again.
We stayed here in June and it was pure bliss. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful mountain getaway, this is the place for you. We loved the space to run, the creek to play and fish, the sauna, and the overall cabin experience. You get the feel of the country with modern conveniences, and it's close enough to groceries and Asheville that you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and have done a great job keeping up with this place. I can't recommend it more.

Why they chose this property
This property is magical to us and we love sharing her with guests. The sprawling wrap around porch is a wonderful place to listen to the creek rush by and watch the sun set over the neighboring pond. The big stretch of flat grassy field in front is a fun place to play badminton, croquet, play cornhole or just lie down and watch the stars.
The sauna is a wonderful way to unwind. We also have a 'portable' old zinc tub that we fill with water and ice for an exhilarating cold plunge!
She sits in the valley of the Big Ivy National forest. It is precious land in a precious part of the world.
