We had a great stay this weekend! The house was exactly as described, even better in person. It was clean, comfortable, and had amazing views. The location was perfect. What really stood out was how thoughtful and responsive the owner was. They checked in to make sure we were happy with everything and even texted us local food recommendations.Overall, it was a smooth and relaxing stay, and we’d definitely come back again!

Thank you for the kind words and we would love to have you stay again!
We spent the Thanksgiving holiday here with family from different states. The kitchen was great for cooking large meals and had everything we needed. The family room downstairs was great for card and board games, and the TV is huge. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms for the ten of us. My avid outdoorsman son was easily able to find local trails for hiking. The cabin was secluded with amazing views! The hosts were so kind and easy to communicate with. We were very pleased with our stay.

Thanks Karen for the kind words. We’re so glad you had an amazing stay at the Blessing!
Our hosts, Ann & Alex, were very nice and reachable at any time. The house had plenty of room for all 12 of us. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. The adults enjoyed the theater. We were all in awe of the mountain views. We loved our Christmas walk down the river. We took lots of pictures at the balcony with the spectacular view of the mountains as there are none in Florida. The place is about 45 mins drive to Ashville, NC where we did some shopping; about 2 1/2 hrs drive to Gatlinburg, TN and about an 1hr drive to Sugar Mountain Resort, where we enjoyed skiing. We sure would love to stay again if we are back in the area. Thank you Ann & Alex!
Our stay was outstanding. We participated in an event which hubbed out of Alberts lodge. The location was perfect. The house was a comfortable oasis. The views were amazing. Two thumbs up!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Our kids are already begging to come back to this house. The hosts- Anne & Alex- were very responsive to our inquiries / request. The foliage made it feel very private. There were quite a few hikes / pull Offs to access the river with in a few miles of this home. We spent our days rafting & hiking in the nearby parks. Evenings, we enjoyed the sunsets from the comfortable couches. Looking forward to coming back.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at The Blessing at Cubs. The home is immaculately clean, the mountain views are breathtaking, the master shower is luxurious and large, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook gourmet meals. We enjoyed drinking hot coffee each morning outside on the spacious deck, watching the clouds roll over the mountain tops. If you are looking for serenity and tranquility, you will find it here. The media room with the larger than life tv and realistic surround sound system was awesome. Highly recommend for a getaway to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We stayed in this property on 29-30Sep'23. We were 12 in no. The property is very spacious and scenic beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the upper fjoor is breathtaking. The owners were easily reachable and patiently provided all query answers. Two downfalls of the trip, the Grill tray was not clean, we had to do this and one of the restroom lock wasn't working. We couldnt use that. I give this stay a 4 star.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. We strive to provide a 5 star stay for each of our guests and are disappointed that you and your family didn’t have this experience. We appreciate you letting us know about the grill. We didn’t know this until we read the review. As for the bathroom handle not working properly, the first we knew about it was when our cleaning crew mentioned it to us after your stay. The situation has been addressed, and the handle is now working properly. Again, we are sorry that you didn’t have a 5 star stay.
We booked this lovely, spacious, outstanding views mountain home for a hiking/kayaking college kids and mom trip. It was a rainy stay so our long hikes were cancelled for shorter hikes in pockets between storms. We were able to walk to trailheads with waterfalls from the home and by creeks with fly fishermen. There were 2 expansive mountain view porches for different group gatherings and plenty of space and seating for 12 people for us to play games inside in the rain. We went to Asheville for dinner and other entertainment. We hope to visit and stay again. This home was everything we could have hoped for.

My husband and I were looking for a getaway in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, and The Blessing at Cubs most certainly delivered! From the moment we booked the rental we felt extremely well cared for by our most considerate hosts. They have clearly chosen to rent out this property to be able to deliver an excellent experience to anyone who crosses their threshold. They were immensely flexible, thoughtful and attentive throughout the stay. There is no way to do justice in describing the view off the front of the house (Master, Living/Dining, Front Porch - and the downstairs also) - you have to experience it for yourself! We were not there for a long stay but I noticed the kitchen is extremely well equipped for any cooking you would choose to do. Truly, I felt like they thought of everything! The furnishings are really lovely - very elegant while still feeling cozy and providing that mountain experience. There is so much room! It was just my husband and I this trip but it would be great for family gatherings or with other couples. We will definitely be back!

Why they chose this property
After looking for almost a year, we finally found the Blessing at Cub Tower. Immediately we fell in love with the amazing view, which is made possible with two and half stories of windows on the top level and the full length of windows on the lower level that still have the same breath taking view. There is no other home with this magnificent view from almost every room in the house. This fabulous view can be seen from every room but one.
What makes this property unique
The Blessing at Cub Tower is unique because it has what we call, relative seclusion. When standing on the decks, you feel like you are immersed in nature, but in reality we are located in a private neighborhood. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 3 miles away, which means the Blessing at Cub Tower is minutes away from a plethora of hiking trails and a scenic drive; in fact, we are less than one mile from an easy hiking trail that leads to a rushing water fall. Because The Blessing at Cub Tower is 18 miles to the quaint town of Burnsville, there is literally something for everyone within a short drive.
