Family Friendly Lakefront Whimsical Cottage with Beach in Sister Lakes, Michigan

Come enjoy this whimsical, multi-themed 5bd/2ba lakefront cottage located on the west side of beautiful Round Lake, a 194 acre all sport freshwater lake in the heart of Sister Lakes, Michigan.

The Whimsical Cottage sleeps 12 guests with two bedrooms, with queen bed and 40" smart tvs- one on the main floor and one on the second floor along with two full bathrooms. There are two additional upstairs bedrooms-one with a full/twin bunk bed and one with a bunk bed with a trundle. An additional "sleeping nook" has two twin beds. There is a portable crib and pack n play, high chairs, and baby toys available on request.

The main floor is open concept with all appliances, a fully stocked kitchen, Keurig Coffee Bar and Mr. Coffee. Double dining/game tables seat 12. Rainy day board games are in the pine bench. The living room has a 55" smart tv and opens to the 12" x 25' deck with dining set and rocking chairs that boasts beautiful sunrise Round Lake views.

Just steps beyond the spacious front deck you will find your private lawn and clean, sandy beach. Enjoy the log swing, loungers, lifeguard chairs or play a game of Cornhole bean bags. The shallow beachfront is perfect for kids and adults alike. Build sandcastles with the beach toys, catch minnows or just lounge with your toes in the sand.

Splash around the pier or paddle along the shoreline with 2 pedal boats, 4 kayaks, float toys and life jackets. Or cast a line off the dock for the best bass fishing around (catch and release please)!

After a day of water fun, barbeque on the gas grill and roast marshmallows and relax around the large natural fire pit with complimentary firewood.

As the sun sets, grab a cool drink, head down the pier and hop on the custom 24' lighted Tiki Party Barge anchored at the end of the pier-Unique to the Whimsical Cottage on Round Lake for great night time views and memories.

Relaxing Getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay. Loved the private beach! Cute quaint and cozy home. Kids enjoyed fishing there were an abundance of fish that were caught in the lake!

We had a great stay. We had 9 people with plenty of space and sleeping area. Great view of the water and nice having the pontoon for rent as well as kayaks to use off the property. Janel even have smore supplies, firewood, coffee for us. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed.

Perfect Lakefront Cottage

The home, sandy beach and amazing host really made this trip memorable for us! The home had great sleeping arrangements for our group and the window air conditioners kicked out plenty of cool air. Jan was so responsive and the coffee bar was so well-stocked! We can’t wait to go back next year!

Exactly as pictured. Outside area is amazing. We enjoyed paddle boats, kayaks, pontoon rides, the fire pit, grilling and outside dining. Restaurants are close by too. Walkable neighborhood. 11 people,18-74 years old, worked well in the house. Owner is very helpful and answers any questions quickly.

60th bday celebration

So awesome so fun. Property had everything we needed. Coffee in the morning on the tiki pontoon and watching the sunrise, the big pontoon for touring the lake and doing a bit of swimming ending our day at dockside for dinner at sunset. Our host Jan was very responsive but really we had little need to reach out there good direction given via email and notes onsite. gorgeous weather all weekend too. Thanks so much Jan

Peaceful and Relaxing

The cottage is very clean and inviting! The outside amenities were nice, clean sandy beach, paddle boats, the Tiki Bar is a permanently docked pontoon, was great to hang out on! The back deck is gorgeous, great for enjoying the lake view, just no shade until later in the afternoon. Cottage is on west side of lake so you have the sunrise and lots of sun all day, we used the pontoon for coffee in the morning for some shade! Everyone on the lake was very friendly. Fishing from the pier was good, my husband caught some bass, just don’t forget the bug spray at night! Despite a few minor glitches - would definitely stay again!
