Private Lake Huron Beachfront Home on 7 Acres!

This spacious home on 7 acres with 300 feet of private beachfront and sweeping views of Lake Huron is a quiet getaway situated between the villages of Port Sanilac and Harbor Beach. It is the perfect destination for your family getaway (and social isolation, if needed!)! 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, sleeps up to 12 adults (14 if small kids), with game room, a sport court (pickleball, tennis, and basketball), and beautiful lake views!

Our 3-story home is located in Forestville, Michigan -- 18 miles north of Port Sanilac and 12 miles south of Harbor Beach. The home is situated at the end of a long private driveway atop a bluff with sweeping views of Lake Huron. The park-like setting includes a sand beach, several lawns and picnic areas, a game room with billiards and card tables, basketball hoop, campfire pits, grills for BBQs, and enough lawn games (and property!) to keep you busy.

The kitchen is spacious and built to accommodate a crowd, with double ovens, an extra sink, plates and cutlery for many, and appliances and cooking utensils. There are 5 bedrooms total (4 upstairs and 1 on the main level), and a full bath on each level of the home. There are 2 queen beds, 6 full size beds, two bunk beds, a pack n' play, and a pullout sofa. Clean bed linens are provided. Ceiling fans throughout the home keep the home airy and cool on warm days. Wireless internet and satellite TV are available for those who want to stay "plugged in".

The beautiful beach front provides access to a shallow bay for water play, kayaking, and fishing. The bay is not deep enough for motorized boats. Jet skis can be used, but you must be very careful of boulders in the bay. We recommend bringing your water shoes to navigate the typical Lake Huron rocky bottom. For deeper swimming or boating purposes, the nearby Forestville beach (1 mile away), Harbor Beach (12 miles north), and Port Sanilac marina are great destinations.

When you are fully relaxed and ready to explore, outings to Port Sanilac, Harbor Beach, Lexington and Port Austin are always fun to take advantage of the sandy beaches, playgrounds, museums, quaint shopping, ice cream and restaurants. Harbor Beach boasts a beautiful harbor, pier and marina where you can rent boats.

This area is great for golf (there is a driving range across the street from the home), hunting, fishing, hiking, sailing, water sports, and in the winter, snowmobiling on the extensive trail system.

The house rents from Monday (check in at 12 noon) to Sunday (check out at 12 noon) from June through early September. In the Spring, Fall, and Winter, we accommodate weekend and week long rentals. Please inquire with the owners for more information. See the "Rates" tab for weekly and weekend rental prices throughout the seasons. There is a $200 cleaning fee for all rentals. Pets will be considered ($50 per pet fee). If you group is approved for more than 14 people, there will be an additional $25 fee/person/night assessed.
