Easy access, private 3 story log cabin with lake and dock. Bedroom and full bath on each floor, loft with loveseat sleeper and tv, and sleeper sofa in the basement family room. Wrap around covered porch. 3 fireplaces, one on a screened deck with lake views, one inside, and a gas one in the basement family room. Family room downstairs with game room, bar, gas fireplace, and hot tub on rear patio. Fire pit area, and stairs all the way to the lake. Enjoy swimming, catch and release fishing, and kayaking on the lake. 6 ponds farm, a great place for the kids, is within walking distance.

The cabin was lovely and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our walks down to the lake and to the local farm. We had fun in the basement playing ping-pong and shuffleboard. Loved making smores by the fireplace!

Our family had the best vacation here! We highly recommend this home—it truly has everything you need and more. The kids loved the tree swing, swimming, and fishing on the lake. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It’s also in a great location, close to plenty of family-friendly activities. We especially enjoyed the game and movie room. We can’t wait to stay here agai

This place was amazing! Clean. Furnished with all kinds of games, toys, movies etc. The house was beautiful and the view outside so nice! The communication with Lisa and her suggested places to go did not disappoint. The family enjoyed lots of time fishing off of the dock too!

Fun stay at cozy cabin

We had fun at this cozy cabin. Check-in was easy and host was responsive to any questions. Kids had so much fun with the game room and adults relaxed by the fireplace. Visited the farm nearby as well. Want to come back when it's warmer to enjoy the lake.

Perfect short getaway

Beautiful get away.

The cabin was absolutely perfect! Cozy, plenty to watch and do. Enjoyed the basement with the shuffleboard! Also loved the outdoor screened in porch area with lovely fireplace. Fishing in the lake was great! Caught a good number of bass! Overall a relaxing, beautiful cabin!

Lovely cabin for families

The cabin serves the needs of our family who gathered from 3 states for a weekend of fun and togetherness. The private lake was where the kids spent the afternoons with parents enjoying the kayaks and fishing. It was clean and cozy yet had enough rooms to accommodate all of us easily. We hope to return in the future.

Bearfoot Lakehouse

We really enjoyed our cabin! The boys got to do a lot of fishing, caught a few bass. We also enjoyed the hot tub, game room, cooking, grilling, the kayaks on the lake, beautiful sunrise and sunsets, Deer down by the lake every morning, the birds singing, the true peace of the mountains and nature. All that this place had to offer was thoroughly enjoyed by all. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. And the host was very friendly and helpful the entire time. So A huge Thank You to Lisa and the Bearfoot Lakehouse! We made wonderful family memories together that we will cherish and remember forever…

Amazing time

We stayed a Friday-Monday and we wish we had stayed longer! Our party consisted of 8 people of all different ages and everyone had a great time. We enjoyed the time at the lake using the fishing poles, kayaking, and swimming. The basement was also a huge hit! The entire family enjoyed playing ping pong and shuffle board. We did an outing to the nearby farm and spent a couple hours exploring and petting the farm animals. We definitely want to go back!

New Year's Eve

We ahad such an amazing time in the cabin. I was a bit hesitant at first because there was only one previous review of the property, but i can tell you its beyond amazing. The pictures dont do any justice to how beautiful and cozy it is. The Christmas decorations were the cherry on top. I would definitely come back, hopefully on spring to enjoy more the lake. 10/10 ***

We are a large family located in Florida. We have been coming to the mountains for years and decided our dream would be to have a family cabin. We wanted a special place for our family to get together and enjoy the outdoors and beautiful weather. It is the perfect get away and wanted to be able to share our dream with others.

Why they chose this property

This cabin is situated in a quiet area with only 5 cabins around the beautiful spring fed lake, perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Semi private and easy year round access. No steep roads to deal with, which ensures not having to worry about snow.. Hiking all around the area, and walking distance to 6 Ponds Farm, a 30+ acre hobby farm, perfect for the kids to pet all the animals.

What makes this property unique

3 separate floors for each family to have some private time. No need to leave the cabin as everything is there for you to enjoy inside or out. Deer passing thru our property is a special treat. New stairs leading from the upper deck down to the new firepit area, as well as new stairs down to the lake. The lake is spring fed for swimming and why not do some fishing or exercise on kayaks. Later do some barbequing and enjoy family time by the fire.
