Well stocked with virtually every need for an enjoyable time. Property filled with amenities and handsomely decorated. Conveniently located near two wineries and the city of Blue Ridge for shopping and touring. Fire pit perfect with outdoor grilling nearby. Large multi functional outdoor living. We will be back!

Wow. What an amazing property. The outside fireplace was worth the price. Every evening we were sitting in front of it under the stars. Very spacious and well maintained cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and cookware. We got a lot of use out of the electric wok. Definitely need to pick up one. Every day there was a dozen or so deer roaming around the property and the drive to the main road. Communication with our host(Matthew) was fast and very helpful. Just the extra thoughtfulness that would have me stay here again. Definitely looking forward to a return trip in the future.

What a beautiful property, and ideal for a girls week in the mountains! 3 fireplaces, a fire pit, gas grill, big green egg, and a beautiful view of the mountains from the large back deck! We loved the hot tub, and it looks to be brand new with lots of room. The host Matthew, was in contact with us all week, and couldn’t have been more helpful with all kinds of ideas of places to go and things to do. The lodge was stunning inside and out and has 3 very nice bedrooms and a bed in the loft. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!!!!

Great adult weekend getaway! The views were incredible and there was so much space. The different areas for outdoor entertainment was perfect if we wanted to be in a group or alone. The grilling area is perfect for cooking a great meal. We loved that it was already decorated for Christmas. We will definitely be back with our kids!

Perfect weekend trip

The property was so beautiful. I wish it had been cooler and snow, but we definitely would love to visit again in the winter months. Communication was great. We loved the scenic location and lots of wildlife.

We came to cozy bear lodge the beginning of November to see the beautiful fall leaves. To say the view was spectacular is an understatement. Everything about the lodge was warm, welcoming, and so cozy we had a hard time ever leaving! It was decorated for Christmas, and for my crew that is always a plus! The host was very kind and attentive to all the details about the cabin, plus offering up some fun things to do in the area while we were there. They were very responsive to any questions we had and very helpful. I would definitely come back and stay here again and recommend to anyone coming to stay in the blue ridge area!

Back to School Trip

Took a trip with a mom friend and our four kids (2, 5, 5 and 7). The place was great accommodating all of us while giving each family their space. Place was in a great location, clean and stocked well. Highly recommend.

My family and I stayed here from November 26–29 for my son’s 5th birthday and Thanksgiving, and we absolutely loved it! The home was perfect for our family. We spent our evenings hanging out around the fireplace and having fun family game nights which was some of our favorite memories from the trip.The three-level floor plan was amazing. It gave everyone enough space to relax and enjoy their own area, but still made it easy for us to spend quality time together. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a holiday getaway.I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others, and we’re already planning to rent it again in the future. Highly recommend!

WOW! We have found our yearly cabin rental! It was beautiful, clean, and the hosts were very accommodating to our needs and wants! We are a little sad that we forgot to sign the guest book but I won't matter because we will be back next year to sign!

Birthday trip

This was the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. The house is better than the pictures, plus the new firepit and grill area was amazing!! We spent every evening watching the sunset in the swings. Matthew was an amazing host, with excellent and timely communication. I will definitely be recommending this location to friends and family

Amazing views and a great time!

We loved our stay at this cabin. The views and place were absolutely stunning. Every thing is clean and up to date. We loved having the porch outside to sit at in the morning and the fire pit down stair to do s’mores in at night. There is a lot to do at the cabin with a Pac-Man machine and jacuzzi. We will definitely be staying again! The place is private, and a little tricky to find but we loved being away from people!
