This sunny, comfortable cottage is updated every year to make it all new for you! You'll enjoy its bright, open, airy interior with cathedral ceilings and its location - just one street back from the beach road with a direct access (100 yards/300 feet) path straight through to the beach or you can take either cross street for a full cross walk at the beach road. There are no houses built along this stunning stretch of Kitty Hawk coastline.

The cottage also sits on a quiet street that is perfect for walking or biking and is close to some of my favorite Outer Banks restaurants, shops and many other Outer Banks attractions.

PLEASE NOTE:
Owner provides bed linens and bath towels for the cottage but the rental does not include beach towels, toiletries, cleaning supplies or unlimited paper products. To get you started we do provide two rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, two trash bags, two dishwasher tabs, two laundry tabs, a sponge and some dishwasher liquid. Please plan accordingly for longer stays.

There is table-seating for six, a 3-stool bar, and a fold-away table for four. There are also two picnic tables outside.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils as well as a microwave, 12- cup drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, mixer, popcorn popper and electric can opener.

Kitty Hawk is a wonderful place to vacation and there are plenty of activities to enjoy in addition to the beautiful beaches:

* Movie theatre within 2 miles of cottage.
* Nearby Waterpark!
*Several public golf courses.
*Miniature golf.
*Kayak, canoe, windsurfer and jet ski rentals.
*Hang-gliding or kite flying at Jockey's Ridge.
*Surfing.
*Jockey's Ridge National Park - where Wilbur and Orville Wright took the first flight- features a flight museum and one of the highest sand dunes on the East Coast. Enjoy a sunset there!
*Roanoke Island is about 12 miles to the south across the Sound. The town of Manteo has a great aquarium and wonderful little art galleries, shops and cafes as well as the gorgeous Elizabethan Gardens. In the summer there are nightly performances of 'The Lost Colony' about the ill-fated first British settlement in the new world.
*Fine dining or casual local spots close by.
*Ferry trip to Ocracoke. Hour's drive to the dock in Hatteras and then 45 minute ride across. Ferries are free and run frequently in summer. Take a bike and explore the Island.
*Hatteras National Seashore - 75 miles of pristine seashore for fishing, camping, surfing, boating.
