Great cottage! Perfect size and has everything we need. Perfect for our little terrier with a nice safe backyard. Location is great with very close proximity to the beach and a nice wine, coffee and sandwich shop close by. Quiet and nice neighborhood. Outdoor shower is a welcome addition. Will return!

This was our second year in a row at this perfect house. The house is immaculate. The fenced yard is perfect for our 2 dogs. The little store next to us is amazing and very convenient. The beach access is an easy 5 min walk with a lifeguard house. This is overall a perfect spot.

This was easily the cleanest house we have ever stayed at! The location in Kill Devil Hills was perfect for our trip, and while the house itself is simple, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We did encounter an issue during our stay, but the host was incredibly responsive and resolved it right away. You couldn't ask for a better or more attentive host. Highly recommend staying here!

Just a little slice of heaven. So close to the beach and very quiet despite being next to a gas station. We frequently forgot it was there. The fenced-in grass yard is perfect for kids and/or dogs. The house is very large inside despite appearing smaller on the outside. Very comfortable living and dining rooms and cute original yellow tile in the bathroom. It’s very close to the Wright Brothers site and many restaurants, shops and a couple farmers markets. We would absolutely stay here again.

Loved it so much, we came back a second time! The proximity to the beach, the convenience store next door with a great deli, and a Dairy Queen down the block. What more could you ask for? Hosts were responsive and welcoming, house was clean and fully stocked of kitchen and beach necessities. Washer/ dryer were very helpful. And the best part, our dog loved the backyard and the neighborhood is so walkable. We'll definitely be back again!

Ocean Pearl

We've stayed numerous times at the Ocean Pearl while visiting the OBX. The location is fantastic and the house is perfect for us. Mindy and Donnie are the best hosts. We would definitely recommend staying at this gem!
