The craftsmanship of this cabin is a work of art. Nestled on the mountainside, the cabin was built from reclaimed timbers. It is Non-Smoking, Pet-Free and located minutes from DeSoto State Park County Store and about 5 miles from downtown Mentone. Enjoy a dip in the hot tub after a day full of fun. (The hot tub is drained, cleaned and refilled with new water after each guest.). The kitchen and bathrooms have been beautifully remodeled while keeping the original beams and timbers in place. Enjoy cooking in a fully equipped kitchen with sleek new stainless steel appliances and marble countertops. Take your pick upstairs or downstairs - Begin your day in a custom walk-in shower with natural slate tile and river rock, a rain shower head, and frameless glass shower door surround. Cozy up next to a fire in the fire pit and admire the stars. Enjoy hiking, sightseeing and exploring in nearby Historic Mentone, DeSoto State Park, DeSoto Falls, and Little River Canyon. Take in a round of golf at one of the local golf courses or go horseback riding through the trails in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The area has so much to offer. Amazing cabin in the hills, had everything we needed. Very cozy and clean, updated cabin perfect for a couples getaway. Would definitely recommend staying and the Host was very responsive and quick to answer any question you had. Will be coming back here in the future

Little Slice of Heaven

This cabin had all we needed and more. Board games, huge TVs, amazing windows for almost a 360 view, and just decorated so cute. We enjoyed the hot tub, showers had great water pressure and love that we had hand held sprayers (which are sometimes hard to find, but important to us). We will definitely return.

Cozy & Lovely Retreat

This cabin is so cozy & sweet. The space retains a very woodsy cabin feel while also being fresh & clean. They had everything we needed for cooking, and even provided dish soap & sponges. The bed was so comfy as well was all the bedding. And the hot tub was easy to use with an option to pull curtains around if you wanted more privacy. And the location near to the park is great if you're looking to do some hiking in Fort Payne or at Desoto State Park.Our only other feedback was we wanted to check in early, were told to ask the day of, and which we did, but were never given an answer when we asked that day. Otherwise 10/10 experience and would absolutely recommend! Wish we could have stayed longer.
