A Beautiful Barefoot Escape - First Floor Golf Villa

Golf, Beach, Shop, and Eat! This location offers the best of all, being minutes to everything you could ask for. A beautifully furnished, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit, situated on the FIRST FLOOR, corner unit and abutting the 15th fairway of the Norman Golf Course and overlooking a peaceful turtle pond. Our unit is next door to the pool as well as the other amenities which makes it very convenient to enjoy all that Ironwood has to offer.

Our community of Ironwood is the only golf villa community with tennis, beach volleyball, and basketball courts (we provide the tennis/volleyball/basketball balls) plus a community gazebo adjacent to the large pool area. During the beach season, there is a free shuttle that takes you to the Barefoot Landing shopping area and to Windy Hill Beach. Wireless internet is provided at no additional cost.

If you are looking for a great vacation, the location, the amenities, and our price makes this one of the best values at one of the most popular vacation destinations in America, Myrtle Beach.

Best Vacation Ever!

This was our 3rd annual friends' trip and it was the best! It was nice and quiet so we could relax, but also offered plenty to do. We loved the tennis court, pool, and the pond behind house with all the turtles! The shuttle to the beach was great and we loved hanging out on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay here again!

A little confusion at check in, the paper we received said we could pick up the pool passes at the mgt office between 10-3 so when we arrived early, we thought we’d get the passes and be able to use the pool until check in. We’ve stayed in barefoot condos many years and have always been able to do this. When we got to the mgt office, he said the pool passes were in the condo and not to keep trying to passcode because he’ll be mad he has to come fix it. We found other things to do besides the pool, but I thought he was very rude, and when I reached out to the owner, there was no response. The condo with nice, clean, had most of the items we needed but the check in experience could have been better.

Deb’s place was just the right size for our family. It was welcoming and a great place to relax coming back from the pool or beach. We had a very hot week so didn’t make full use of the patio space but it would be a quiet place to relax as well. This was our second stay at a Barefoot Landing condo and we’ll definitely consider coming back next time we’re in town.

Everything was great except the manager not being available during open hours. No hours of operation was posted on the office doors so my kids didn't get to swim in the pool. Besides that, everything else was perfect. Clean. Every store is within 2-5 mins away.

This was not our first time at the property nor will it be our last. Deb is a great owner, and gets back to you quickly. The property is very clean and has everything you need. Overall, my experience was good. When we arrived, there were some cleanliness issues (hair found in beds and showers, food crumbs on living room floor and master bedroom, and dirty dishes were the primary issues) requiring me to do laundry when I first got there ro ensure our beds were clean enough to sleep in. I did reach out to the property owner to let them know, and they responded quickly and insisted they would follow up with the property manager. I never heard anything after that, but I hope this doesnt happen for anyone staying after us. The facility had everything we needed, the location was great (especially due to the walking distance to the pool). It was a little frustrating dealing with the office being open for a short time during the day, mainly becasue we were there for a dance competition so the times didnt easily mesh well with our schedule, but all in all, we enjoyed the facility, felt safe, and were close to shopping centers and food!

First time here after losing our previous condo of five years (owner sold). LOVED IT! Deb and her property manager were great to work with. One minor hiccup on arrival but we worked through it. Condo was furnished nicely, very well appointed and stocked, and served us well. Closest pool access we’ve had in 15 years at Barefoot. Absolutely loved the three-season room. Thanks, Deb!!!

Family vacation

We had a rough start. The door code we were given didn’t work and then we only had 1 parking pass and we were supposed to have 2. The property manager quickly got us a code that did work and we were able to pick up another parking pass the next day. The rest of the trip was pretty smooth. The property is beautiful and well kept. It was very quiet and peaceful.

When searching for a vacation home, we toured many properties and neighborhoods before ultimately deciding that Ironwood at Barefoot was the place for us. Our children especially love the tennis courts, beach volleyball, and pool, while we were drawn to the unbeatable location, close to so many great amenities. The unit truly sold itself with its quality furnishings, tasteful décor, and immaculate condition.
